Re: Seattle City X

Stanislaw,

Please disregard my post about availability of the upgrades at FS Pilotshop. They are there!

Thanks for the sceneries -

Re: Seattle City X

Stanislaw,

I purchased Seattle City and Airports from FS PilotShop, and as of this morning the updated files aren't being offered for sale there. I realize this out of your control, but do you know if they intend to put them up?

Thanks -

Re: NY Airports v2 X

Stanislaw,

I have downloaded updated files for several of your sceneries. Do I just install them over the old versions, or do I need to uninstall the old ones first?

Thanks -

Re: Seattle Airports X

Stanislaw,

I am VERY pleased to report that my issues with KSEA and KBFI are resolved. The problem apparently was with the driver for my nVidia GTX 960 graphics card, because when I updated to the new driver that was available this morning, everything was working OK.

Thanks -

Re: Seattle Airports X

I completely understand the issues involved in diagnosing a problem like this, coming from a tech support background (both hardware and software) myself. It can be next to impossible. My system is like this: Asus Z170-A motherboard with the latest BIOS, Intel i7-7700K at 4.2 GHz (the native rate - n...

Re: Seattle Airports X

I have P3D v. 4.2 also, and KRTN looks fine on my system. I take it that you can fly fine out of KSEA and KBFI, so we have some issues on both our systems.

I wonder if v. 1.1 of the scenery might fix this.... I am finally through all my AI, and it was not an AI issue that caused my CTDs.

Stanislaw, I think I have figured out a way to isolate non-P3D native AI aircraft that could cause my CTDs. I can use AIFP to find out which flightplans go to KSEA, then look at the flightplans to see if they use a suspect aircraft. Then take that aircraft out and see what happens. Sounds like a pla...

The lowering of the AI traffic percentages didn't yield any results. Both KSEA and KBFI gives me CTDs with percentages different from zero, Renton is fine with all percentages. I would agree that a non-native AI aircraft could be causing this, so I'll go on with the updating of the models. I am also...

It is not possible to replace the AI I have now with the default. Besides, the AI I have now works file in all the other sceneries I have, both yours and those from UK2000. A non-native AI aircraft may, of course, be a culprit, and I am in the process of replacing non-native aircraft from TFS, AIG, ...

Since this is P3D v. 4.2, and the Lite version has no influence on CTDs, then I won't bother with the Lite version. The default AI is replaced by my flight plans from FSX, so yes you could say custom AI. Lots of it. And the odd thing is, again - this works fine in the other sceneries here under P3D,...

It's just time-consuming big time, with all the AI I have. We'll get there. Jorgen [ Added : Sun Feb 25, 2018 19:09 ] Stanislaw, preliminary results: the full install of Seattle City and Airports on my system does not like AI traffic. With Airline AI only on, with settings of 50%, 40% and 30% I get ...

I would certainly like to know if you come up with something. In the mean time, I will reinstall Seattle, the full version of the City, since there seemed to be no issues flying over that, and the Lite version of the Airports. I will come back if there are any issues. Jorgen [ Added : Sat Feb 24, 20...

Stanislaw, I am having issues with Seattle Airports v. 1.05 in P3D v. 4.2. I have this installed also in FSX, where the full install gives no problems. But with the full install in P3D, when I try to fly from KSEA, the plane sits at the end of the runway, and when I touch anything, I get a CTD. At K...

I had the same issue as chaoustin in P3D v.4.2, and in my case it definitely was because New York Airports and New York City were both in add-on.cfg and in Scenery Configuration Editor. Removed them from SCE and all was well.

Recommended configuration settings

Stanislaw,

This should maybe be in the FAQ, but do you have any recommended settings that should be used in FSX.CFG and Prepar3D.CFG, respectively?
