Actually not Aerosoft, it's Simware Simulations. I have sent a lot of emails and got no response whatsoever. They have the new version for sale on the site, but no upgraded version in my account.

I have dealt with them in the past and they were OK, but not this time. I am at a loss.

Cheers,

Scott

Ok, I have wrote them as well.

[edit] Simware said that they did not receive any questions about Miami X.

Thankyou Stanislaw, your input worked. I have now at least received communication from Simware, and have written them again with my questions. This time they have confirmed they received my email, and are looking in to my queries. Apparently they didn't receive the past communications, and say they must have gone to the spam inbox. Why my emails are going to a spam inbox, I don't know.

Cheers,

Hi,
I purchased Miami City 2012 X from PC Aviator 2 years ago. I thought I read somewhere perhaps on this forum that the latest version for Prepar3D V3 was feeely available to anyone who had previously purchased the scenery. I see that PC Aviator is nolonger listed as a vendor on your site. I sent a customer support email to PC Aviator asking why my download link was not for the latest version of Miami City X and got no reply. Is the latest version supposed to be available to me? If not is there an upgrade route or do I simply have to by the scenery again?

Thanks,
Dave

Hi. Actually we still cooperate with PC Aviatior even though they are not listed. The latest version was sent to them on the same day as to all other resellers.

Hi,
I just installed Miami City X, Version 1.6, using P3D V 3.0.

Your scenery shows up correctly but I still also see the ugly P3D-default buildings. That is mostly apparent at the shoreline of Miami Beach but also leads to some doubled buildings downtown.
In the screenshots on the product page there are no default buildings visible.

What went wrong here? Do I have to disable any stock files? Is there an exclude-file missing?

I made a screenshot but don't know how to attach it here.

Thank you for your help.

Regards

Ralf

Hello.
This sounds very strange - all default buildings are usually excluded. Have you tried reinstalling the scenery? Or maybe another addon generates some city buildings?

Thank you for your reply.

A reinstallation indeed solved the problem.

I assume I might have had the Migration Tool activated yesterday because I also installed some other scenery it was necessary for. Probably I forgot to deactivate EMT before installing Miami City X what might have lead to the problem.

Now I can fully enjoy your scenery.

Thank you!

Hello Julean Jens Michlas Nielsen,
Thank you for contacting FSPilotshop.com.
When a publisher releases a new update for a specific product they usually allow the update to be on only their sites for a couple of weeks so It can “breath” and make sure there are no errors or bug fixes that need to happen. At this time the publisher will then release the update to its re sellers. Could be a couple weeks or so before we receive the update if its something this publisher just released.
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance and we look forward to serving you again soon.

Sorry- I rephrase my question

Post by Julean »

I see.

The Miami X installer I have is the v1,5, Its in P3D its for P3D V2

So the question then will be: How do I install into V3?

From the above forum text, The V2 versions works fine in V3.
And is to be used, if understood correctly.

Thank you.

Is v1.5 the latest you can download from FSPilotshop.com ? You should have v1.6 to be able to correctly install it into P3Dv3.
