Unfortunately I can confirm - in my P3D v2.5 after installation of new scenery (previously I had SODE 1.3 and removed the SODE files as advised) jetways are missing. Nevertheless I'm sure that the cause of problem will be found soon.

Ok, please confirm the order of things you did:

1) Removing all mentioned files and folders
2) Removing old SODE
3) Installing new SODE together with activating its modules via the SODE Manager !
4) Installing of our product

Hi,

In SODE (C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\cfg) located DrzewieckiDesign.sdx,
which appears there after installing EETN_X 1.7.
Not in sdx-folder (C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\sdx),you would expect!

Is this OK or...?

regards

and more... nowhere in SODE i can`t find EETN_X.sdx or something else EETN files.
only with EETN context, there is Simobjects files - DrzewieckiDesign_EETN
(located C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\SimObjects)

In my case, I removed all mentioned files and folders.

I also removed the EETN folder from Addon Scenery in order to do the "clean" install, however I understand that it's not necessary.

I didn't have to install new SODE, because it was previously installed by me due to the installation of other scenery. As far as I remember I didn't remove the old SODE before installation of new version, because I thought it wasn't necessary - maybe it was done by SODE installator, because I have only one entry of SODE in my sim (concerning the new one). For sure the new SODE is active in the SODE manager.

The last thing was installation of new product, although EETN was my second installation - before it I installed new EPWA.

Ok, what operating system do you use? For Win7 the directory is C:/ProgramData .

I think I did what you expected me to do.

I have a 2. PC with FSX Acceleration installed and OS Windows 7.
No prior installed SODE neither EETN Tallinn.

So 1) and 2) are obsolete.
Did 3), activate SODE (v1.3.1) with the SODEPlatformManager and re-checked SODE inside FSX.
Did 4), started FSX and moved to EETN at Gate 4.

No Jetways!

Again an excerpt of the SODE.log:

Hans,

If you navigate to C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\sdx\ is there a subfolder called "DrzewieckiDesign"? If not, there's the problem.
If yes, is there a file in there called "EETN_X.sdx"?

Hi,

Yes, the DrzewieckiDesign.sdx file is located in the cfg folder. It is a primary configuration file of a developer/company.
The actual scenery implementations like EETN_X.sdx or EPWA_X.sdx are residing in a "DrzewieckiDesign" folder within the sdx subfolder.
So if this file (EETN_X.sdx) is missing, something went wrong during installation.

Hello Jeffrey,

with both installs (one FSX SP/Win XP the other FSX Acc/Win7) there is no subfolder 'DrzewieckiDesign' in '...\SODE\sdx\'.

Only 'DrzewieckiDesign.sdx' is in '...\SODE\cfg\'. But that is the same (date 21.08.2015) as it was with the old implementation of Tallinn v1.6 and SODE v1.0.4!

The 3D Models are installed correctly in ...\SODE\simObjects.

Alright, there's the problem. I suppose a problem with the installer for EETN. I can't confirm this, I'm away from my FS computer right now. But the missing EETN_X.sdx file was reported in a post further above, so it's very likely.

The timestamp for the DrzewieckiDesign.sdx is perfectly fine. Its contents haven't changed since...

I can confirm - there is no EETN_X.sdx file in C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\sdx\DrzewieckiDesign

I only have EPWA_X.sdx there

I tried EETN with SODE1.3 but have no jetways.

SODE installs itself in C:\Program Files (x86)\12bPilot\SODE
and EETN C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE

I think this should be the same folder?

Installing SODE I can choose any folder, but the EETN installer ignores that and I have no choice.

Disregard my last message. That is all correct. I will try again.

Just in case EETN_X.sdx is missing, here is the file: link - it should be put into C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\sdx\DrzewieckiDesign .

Hi,
After updating EETN to V1.7 and updating SODE to V1.3.1 and following the instructions to the letter I cannot see the jetways. I have the other animations working correctly and the seasonal objects seem to work well. Looking at the log file it appears that the jetways are not being loaded for some reason. I have also placed the .sdx file noted above in the correct folder. I have attached the log file below. Can a solution be found please?

Is it correct that there is not a file for EETN here: C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\xml ?

I have a LOWL and Sample file in that folder.
