Congratulations on new release!

Am I missing something obvious or doesn't this scenery not have Dynamic lighting? Tried to look from manual as well.

E: Sorry, there is a bit of misunderstanding. Somehow I remembered that Warsaw had DL already so I thought you have included that already in your sceneries. Just checked Warsaw and did not have DL there, so I guess it's same with Tallinn.

Thanks!
That is correct - we will not support a feature that cuts FPS by half.
Besides, I don't like it. XP "dynamic" lighting looks much better so far in my opinion. Sure, it is "cool" as a new feature but nothing more and definitely not at this cost.

Just curious - what is it that you are missing from that feature the most?

Well, it's not a gamechanger for me really yet. I just like it when the aircraft blends in the scenery lighting a bit better and makes things more "living" with light and shadow. I agree there is still some issues with it but also some scenery developers have been able to include dynamic lighting beautifully in my opinion looking very nice and natural. Maybe a selection for the user to choose between DL on and off in individual sceneries would be nice. :)

very happy with the new installer, removes old scenery and most important, it doesnt change your TML in the cfg what was very annoying in the past, thanks sir Stanislov, hope u leave it this way.

+1 for Dynamic Lights. It might take a way some performance but the immersion you gain from it is more valuable than a fraction of the performance.

Hi.
Which sim do you use?
If it works fine, it means that it is added to the Library correctly.

EETN Tallinn X v2 DEMO

Post by trisho0 »

How to uninstall from P3D v4? Removing the add-on is not enough because still in P3d library.
Also, does the full installer include animated train?

I think the DEMO should be removed automatically when the full version is installed, but if not, simply remove the product's folder from the My Documents \ Prepar3D Add-ons folder.

Uninstalling EETN DEMO

Post by trisho0 »

I found the trick, resolved. Before purchasing EETN I want to know if the full installer includes animated train as well or it is static?
