Hi

I have no jetways after installing the latest update.

Here's what I did:

1. Downloaded from SimmMarket.

2. As instructed manually removed:
FS Folder\SODE\cfg\Drzewiecki Design.sdx
FS Folder\SODE\sdx\EPWA_X.sdx
FS Folder\SimObjects\Misc\DrzewieckiDesign_EPWA

3. Ran the installer and carefully followed the steps.

4. When prompted, downloaded the latest SODE and ran its installer.

And now I have lost my jetways.

I would be grateful for any help you can provide.

I believe that the best option would be run a TeamViewer session so I could look myself what is exactly wrong during the install and why. Is there anyone available?

I'm downloading the installer at the moment and will try to do a clean installation. We can do TeamViewer once I have the file. Do you have Skype?

Ok. During the install there is a window visible with most important install paths specified. Please make a screenshot of that window - this would help us with the issue. The "ProgramData" folder is automatically defined by the installer and usually this works fine but maybe there are some exceptions...

Hi Gavin,

Do you have an entry in the FS menu "Add-Ons" -> "SODE 1.3.1" ? If not, this would indicate that SODE is not active. If there is, does clicking on "Test DLL connection" prompt a message "[SODE] Jetway Control System is up and running"? If yes, SODE is running correctly on your system.

If you still have no jetways, could you post the SODE.log file here? You can find it at C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\log

Hi,

Is it possible to make the taxi light visable from further away ?

When I am on approach to EPWA the blue taxi lights pop-up only a few miles out.

Regards,

Dennis

Yes, but that would influence FPS significantly. We have set the best performance vs visuals distance.

Thanks for the quick answer. Is there a file I can play around to tweak this a bit ?
Or is this coded in lod files ?

Unfortunately changing that distance would require to export the whole ground from source files each time. But taxi lights are not very much visible from the distance, aren't they?

Update question.

Post by AndyCYXU »

Do i just get the update from where i bought the product?

In my case was SimPlanet i just re-downloaded it but as i started install it still said v1.4 so i guess I need to give it some time for them to upload new version, or is there some other way I get the update?

Thanks
Andy
