Is this normal that I have only 12FPS when looking on the scenery from above? On other big airports I have usually 40-50FPS.

Yes indeed as LODs do not work correctly at this viewport.

EPWA rocks, but..
I get the message no stands available, I installed the latest version of SODE to C:\ProgramData\12bPilot.

Where do you get this message from? SODE? Do you use the Shift+D combination?

I actually did read the manual upon installation of the latest SODE, iv'e ALWAYS used shift+vk minus in the earlier version, i never thought shift-d was the case. Just saying.

I ment our manual - there is a section related to SODE, that is also a separate manual for SODE usage - both states that Shift+D combination is designed specifically for our company.

EPWA in another folder

Post by borisvp »

Hi,

I have EPWA and it's a good scenery, but I don't like SODE. I have a habit to organize my sceneries different than most installers (which tend to spread them all over my FSX folder), but when I do this, I do not have jetways anymore.

My scenery is in "Addon Scenery/Europe/EPWA Warsaw". But when it's not in "Addon Scenery/EPWA Warsaw Chopin Airport X", there are not jetways.

I do not need nor want animated jetways; I'm fine with static ones (but those I want to have). So, how do I either get rid of SODE and have static jetways or get SODE to work with the scenery in another folder?

Hi.
There is no folder selection window during install for a reason - the best idea is to place the scenery just where it should be - in the Addon Scenery folder. Otherwise it might not work correctly.

Hi,

I figured that one out for myself. That was not the answer to my question. Now I am left with either being forced to use a file structure I am not satisfied with (and that is also for a reason) or to have a scenery which is not complete.

But thanks anyway.

Exactly, you are forced to use the file structure you are not satisfied with. For us it is enough when our customers are satisfied with the visuals and performance our products provide - not the file structure. There is no reason to make any changes to the installation directories of our products, especially those with SODE.
borisvp wrote:That was not the answer to my question.
The answer is that you can't see jetways if you have SODE disabled (we do not provide static jetways option) and you can't install the product into a different directory.

I am simply a cruel person and I just love to force people to install our products exactly where I want!

Siema. Proponuję odezwać się bezpośrednio na support SODE, tak będzie najszybciej.
