When I load the scenery, SODE installs extra trees around the Airport. These trees look like autum-trees to me. Is that normal? They differ from the ORBX-trees that are spring-green.

Hi.
The scenery should look exactly as on promo screenshots: http://www.drzewiecki-design.net/prodEPWA_X.htm but there may have seasonal variations (f/e they may have different textures in March, I do not remember honestly).

Referring to my previous message about the missing scenery objects, I'd like to add that it's also possible to check if all the texture files are included in the scenery by adding in the [scenery] section of the fsx.cfg file the line
ShowMissingTextureAlert=1
This is very useful during the development or testing process.

I've purchased the full version and, after the first tests, I must unfortunately report the following problems:
- four scenery objects are still missing; namely those whose GUID starts with
79CB2EDA-.....
B51CDC61-.....
4C314829-....
3FB571D%-.....
- the texture file named AIRCRAFT_B787LOT_LM.DDS is also missing
The tests are going on.....

I've also found that fuel truck service (default command Shift+F) doesn't work at all.
Maybe shall I use another command?
Using ADE tool "Fault finder" no parking spot seems to be connected to taxiway network.

This is caused by double entries in the Scenery Library. Please make sure that there is only one entry and remove the other one.

I've double checked the texture folder and found that the texture file (AIRCRAFT_B787_LOT_LM.dds) is there, even if FSX signalizes the file is missing.
I think there should be something wrong in the file itself.
Have you any suggestion?

The default baggage handling service doesn't work either.
It's perhaps mandatory using GSX with this scenery?

The fueltruck service doesn't work any longer in all aeroports.
Deleting all SODE entries in the exe.xml and ex.xml files doesn't help
Has someone got any suggestions?
Thank you for helping.

Hi There,

Are there any plans to support P3Ds dynamic lighting in your EPWA or Polish Airports, in general? I know that performance is always an issue but it seems like Prepar3D v4.2 works really well in that regard (well, at least for me..) and I'm quite impressed how others implemented that in their sceneries so far (FlightBeam might be a good example). In fact, it looks so good that I doubt I ever buy P3D scenery without DL support from now on (..and I think I'm might not be alone here!)

Hi.
Just as we do not use FS-generated shadows (ours are texture-baked) we do not plan to implement dynamic lighting, we prefer to "save" the lighting on our textures instead. Obviously this might change over time however as far as we can see our customers appreciate ideal performance rather than eye-candy provided with multimaterials, special effects or the effect-based lighting. We prefer to wait until the system becomes more efficient and if it will, we may start implementing it too. The implementing is very simple, but as for now I believe we can provide you the lighting that looks as good but without any performance drop.

Image

Lets say this is 30fps. Would you appreciate a similar effect with 15fps but with "dynamic lighting" mentioned in the features of a product? Please note that we often render our lighting with a render engine, making it phisically very realistic. Sure, it won't lit your aircraft when taxiing near the light source but I personally believe that so far "dynamic lighting" is more a marketing element rather than a valuable feature. We are more looking forward to SODE VGDS for example, which will provide an extremely important flight sim feature - realistic docking operations.

BUT - if you wish we can place one light bulb at all our airports making them dynamic-lighting compatible  . The performance drop will probably be around 1-2fps which is acceptable.

Here is some real-world airport lighting. I do not think it looks much different in our products:
