KSEA Rwy 16R Invisible Force?

I've made a few approaches now in two different aircraft into KSEA 16R. On the ILS approach (for consistency in height above ground), I encounter what appears to be some kind of invisible force between the last set of approach lights and the runway threshold. It consistently creates a yaw moment forcing the nose left. Can the devs and/or others have a look at this? Landing on 16C does not produce the same results.

Maybe this is a result of terrain versus wind?

I need help no matter what I do I can't get KBFI to look right. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Xplane 11 then I only added DD Seattle airports XP and still get same result overlapping scenery taxiways floating lights and nothing I do fixes it please help

I don't know how to attach image here but best way I can describe it is there appears to be overlapping taxiways and lines everywhere and floating lights on buildings near muesum but mostly the dual taxiways and signs and lights are very much a problem

Hi.
Did you make an automatic or manual install? The problem is probably related to the wrong order in the scenery_packs.ini .

I did automatic and manual I used several tips of the internet with regards to the scenery.ini I have checked and checked and same problem now here is one thing I found if I turn the graphics objects off in settings I get the default ground but as soon as I add even just the first setting it goes crappy.

someone please examine there kbfi in xplane and maybe see if they have the same issue?

I even checked in overlay ed and it looks like the scenery is all out of whack,

ok I found a solution that was to completely delete the global airports folder from custom scenery but other issues are that with runways follow contours ON there are floating objects like signs with it OFF no floating object however this affects other airports that need it turned ON. also in my steam edition the big boeing building at the end of the 32 runway area is not showing up at all. this must be steam? I don't know but I feel I have other issues with the steam version.

ok so I have a youtube channel created and I am going to hopefully show the videos of the problems I am working on those now and should be up soon. There seems to be a major difference between the Steam Version and the Digital Version I hope this wont breach any regulations of this forum and mods please forgive me if it does but I am trying to just sort this out.

Well it is all fixed I just completely deleted xplane 11 and started fresh. When I installed DD Seattle I choose to NOT install the photoreal scenery and I have returned to an earlier Version of Xplane and it is all good now So once I start reinstalling other sceneries I will check each time to see if there is any conflict and after I update xplane I'll see if any further issues I will repost.

Hi DD Stainslaw,

The issue of the "force" applying yaw to RWY 16R at KSEA is not wind related as I can tell. This does not happen on 16C or 16R. To be sure, I'll fly it with no weather to be sure but that would be one hell of a cross wind to move the plane as it does. Would you mind trying this out yourself and report what you find?

Hi everyone. Having some very strange problems with KSEA scenery and what looks like TWO different airports overlapping or conflicting scenery not mentioned in the instructions.

I have both Seattle Airports XP Windows v1.1 and Seattle City XP Windows v1.1 When I load up aircraft at the north terminal (N Gates) for KSEA, I see overlapping static aircraft and misaligned jetways, etc. Half the time I startup at most gates, my airplane is inside the terminal. Ok I think I solved my problem. I believe this was the offending scenery which created a separate KSEA airport model that was conflicting:

I discovered an easy fix for runway 16R invisible wall issue.

1) Locate the following object file: KSEA_RWY16R_APP-KSEA_KJ_02.obj
2) Open with text editor
3) Scroll to bottom and delete "ATTR_hard" row
4) Save and restart xplane

Scenery is great, but can you please provide an Ortho4XP patch?

The included mesh blows out the entire tile (+47-123) and everything outside of Seattle metro area looks empty (even worse than default XP). I'm currently forced to choose between 1) using the included mesh and having a perfect KSEA and emptiness in most of tile or 2) using Ortho4XP tile and KSEA with floating buildings and elevation issues. Ideally, I would like to use your scenery (Airports + City) in conjunction with forkboy's WA orthos which are of amazing quality. Again, the problem I'm trying to solve is the emptiness in rest of tile rather than trying to replace your orthos which are well done (and would still work nciely on top of Ortho4XP mesh).

Ask. Please provide an elevation patch to use in step 2 of Ortho4XP process similar to other scenery developers. This would allow users to build their own tile with the correct elevation data to properly display KSEA and have ortho coverage for the FULL tile. Please consider this request as your scenery leaves a large void. Also, Ortho4XP has become a popular tool with the XP community and should be a consideration for premium scenery developers.

Good Evening,

I just purchased Seattle Airports XP for X-Plane 11 and Autogate is not functioning. I am not finding much about it either in this forum or online. I have xplane 11 and I used auto installer. This does have autogate and VGDS yes? If so, any ideas how to fix this?
