Yeah XPLANE has weird lighting. And no the water puddles are not floating in the air they are properly located. This does occur even without any shaders or XVISION tweaks.

We will discuss internally how figure it out, but on the other hand at the moment you are the only one reporting such issue.

Hey all - any update on the night lighting fix? Even when using Vulkan the FPS drops from 60 down to around 19.
Love the product, hope you can find a fix soon :)

Really disappointed this issue has not been resolved yet. Ohare and Midway are unusable at night

There is a native lighting, which means that we do not have much room to maneuver. However we are still considering some options.

By the way - last time we did some additional checks of nightlights and we are still confused.

Then we checked with the same settings, aircraft, weather conditions but without night lighting:

And the difference is only few FPS... and finally without our scenery:

We are still focused to help you to improve the performance, but as you may see above - it's hard to find a solution if something is not as obvious as it might seem.

Any update on the ghost potholes? No O4XP tile in the KORD area and runway follows terrain contours is unticked.

If you are referring to this report: http://drzewiecki-design.net/forum/view ... 441#p18755

The point is that we are not able to reproduce it in our Sims, even if we tried with different environments. I'm afraid that we simply are not able to fix something that we cannot see in our sim.

Regarding the lighting, when looking from a distance there don't seem to be many issues, but try to zoom in or get closer to the terminals is when the real issue happens.

exactly. Zoom in to the terminals at night and watch you fps go down to 10fps. And I run a 8700k with a 1080ti.

Guys, we are in contact with X-Plane developer to make some additional analysis of our scenery, of course having the performance issue in mind. Let's see if there is any space for improvement.

Thank you very much guys for offering your Chicago Airports XP for free today. I just stumbled upon that at Simmarket. That is amazing. I have many of your sceneries already, and I love them all, but I did not have this scenery. Thanks for your great work and for your kind generosity.

I am having the night lighting issue as well. If it helps, I am not using any light modifications, and while my FPS drops, my GPU will be sitting at 100% utilization, with plenty of VRAM available.
