We are happy to announce that our next project will be Seattle, WA. Expected features:

• Large scenery area, from KPAE Paine Field to KSEA Tacoma (not included but fully compatible with T2G's version)
• Detailed Seattle City model with plenty of landmarks, harbours, seaplane bases etc
Very detailed sceneries of 3 airports in the area - KPAE, KBFI and KRNT (they may become a separate product - this is not decided yet)
• Some amazing structures with Avatar-friendly interior modeling (Space Needle's observation deck or Boeing Everett Factory Assembly Building for example)
• Extras like Microsoft HQ, photoreal Mount Rainier with 1/9 arc second mesh and much more
• Very advanced optimization and VAS management

There is no publishing date yet but we definitely expect it to be this year.

Will the ground be photoreal? If so, 1M per pixel? When you can, a map of the coverage area would be great. Looking forward to this.

I would like to share with you some new work-in-progress previews of our Seattle project. Please note, these are all renders so features like specular maps are not visible.

Wow! That looks fantastic. Performance optimisations would definitely be required as this is cpu heavy area (or it was at least, I haven't flown there for a while).

Nevertheless, a great project in the making. Seeing inside the Boeing factory would be cool.

Cheers,

Here are some up-to-date screenshots (renders) of the current progress on our Seattle project.

The airports are at about 25% of completion - ground polygons are finished in 2 airports and one has almost all buildings modelled. From the city almost the whole downtown is already created including all higher and lower buildings, the harbour, bridges, ships, trains and other extras. Additionally A LOT of low-poly static aircraft were created to represent Boeing's busy production line.

Looking great!

Not sure to where to post this as i couldnt find a suggestions for future projects Topic on the forums
But is there any chance that you could consider doing a city wide coverage of London in U.K in the future? Like you have done with new york/miami/moscow etc..

Cheers
