Looks great, can't wait for the 3 main NY airports. The FSDT JFK is showing its age big time and if the Imaginesim one is not accurate I am going with yours. Can't wait to do some Europe to JFK/EWR trips!

Gear is now completed (same for all models). As for now the whole aircraft has about 750 poly but the engines will probably double that amount. Fuselage textures are applied for test purposes only.

Fairings of flaps mechanism are now completed as well as many other minor fixes. The only thing left to model are GE90/GE9X and their mounts.

Satisfied with the GE90 - the geometry is realistic with only 240 poly per engine with a pylon.

Here is the completed model of -300. Untextured parts are livery-related.

[edit] ...and all 4 completed models without liveries:

The polycount is very good: 1400-1500 poly each. Here is a wireframe of 9X:

Yellow parts are livery-dependent.

My coworker Jakub wrote me that in comparison to the new static 777 my 787 model is f** up and should be done from scratch (the current one has around 6k polys). So... I had no choice but only to start doing a new model, which should take about 1500 polygons plus I will also model the -9 and -10 versions.

Took quite some time to make those cockpit windows right... 280 poly so far.

So far so good - here is a comparison between the old version (further) and the new one (closer):

Image

Fuselage - old version 694 poly, new version 276 poly
A wing - old version 144 poly, new version 55 poly
Stabilizers - old version 234 poly, new version 98 poly

The engine under construction:

...and here is the fully completed model of the -8 version with a very good result of 1500 poly:

Note that the front gear is slightly above the ground - this is because it is much easier to model an aircraft places at a cruise angle (horizontally) than how it stands on the ground (the nose is lower).

This model will be used in our upcoming Seattle project as well as in New York Airports v2.

[edit] And here is the -10 version which can accomodate up to 440 (!) passengers.

A quite interesting unpainted composite livery (Boeing paints 787s almost intantly so it was hard to find any good pictures):

Also some engine cowlings are missing (the interior shot is Trent 1000 indeed) as well as some panels from the pylon.

Same question here.
Would be very nice to see Chisinau for P3D v4.
Till then, i want to thank you and your team one more time for this awesome scenery.
I fully enjoy it in v3.4 so far.

After first tests of P3dv4, probably everything in our sceneries looks fine, objects and lights display correct. Could be only some problem with SODE, but new version will fix this.
