Just purchased 1.3 and noticed this at the terminal w/ Gate 32. It affects all user, static, and AI aircraft. Is there some sort of transparency layer or environment texture layer in particular on this terminal that I could begin to troubleshoot with? I have also tried installing WashingtonX w/o the asphault and walkable surfaces to no avail. Shaders cache was refreshed as well.

Interesting... Which P3D is this and what graphic processor do you use?

The suggestions are (please check each by each):

1. Reinstall the product
2. Check other airports (preferably KRNT, KPAE or something from Polish airports if you have any of them)
3. Remove KDCA_Dirt.bgl file
4. Remove p3d.cfg
5. If nothing from the above help, I would perhaps consider a faulty graphic processor driver.

Sweet! Yeah it was the KDCA_Dirt.bgl causing this issue. Ty!

Should we all remove that KDCA dirt file?

Hello, I know its not very realistic to fly a 777 into DCA but SODE isnt allowing the jetrbridge to attach to the pmdg 777.I tried most of the gates and I keep getting the same message,
[SODE] JETWAY CONTROL SYSTEM: Unable to dock
Aircraft Door out of Jetway Elevation Range!
Aircraft Door too high for the Jetway (during Dip)!
Aircraft Door too high for the Jetway (during Extension)

Is there any way around this?

Thank you!

Hi.
Each jetway has its limitation regarding allowed movement. Some jetways are too short or too low to be able to "get" to the 777's door. I do not think those will work with 777, you would probably need to use the stairs.

Hi Stan:

Having an issue with Washington X (v.1.3) in P3D v4.2. For some reason the buildings at KDCA (and the Mall) are just black squares. Is this version compatible with SODE 1.6.3? I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling as Administrator (with Norton AV off) several times without luck. No ORBX, I use Megascenery Photoreal scenery.

Any suggestions how to get KDCA back again. Here is a screenshot:

Many thanks,

Hi.
I would suggest checking for double entries in the Scenery Library - the only active entry should be the one greyed out.
You may also check the object complexity settings - the slider should be at least in the middle.

Thanks Stan. That did it. For some reason it was both in the scenery, cfg as well as add-on.xml folder.

Sorry for the delay but I was at FSExpo this weekend. Too bad you weren't there :)

Peter

I have GSX from FSDT . I also have the latest SODE [1.6.3] Can't use Jetways as it says there are none. IF I use sode to ext6end them, Its like cntrl J. They were working properly at KJFK and KLGA.

In the manual it states
Many helipads and heliports including White House, KJPN Pentagon Army Heliport, KBOF Joint Base Anacostia–Bolling, MedStar Washington Hospital, Washington DC Police Department Air Support, US Park Police Anacostia Operations Facility, Sibley Memorial Hospital, Walter Reed Emergency Heliport and Georgetown Hospital.

Is there a map to show where they are? The ones with the airport codes I can find. but the hospitals have no code.
