Matthew!
Yes, thank you for the fix.

It has got rid of the pink patches.

Unfortunately, just to the south of runway 27, there are "plates" of scenery that are not well matched. Square plates that are "sitting" on top of the underlying scenery. If you fly away and don't look to close its ok. Better than the pink areas anyway! :)

Thank you again, its an improvement.

Canarsie Lights Missing In X-Plane Version

Post by HamSammich »

Stan,

You got the lights into FSX/P3D, and all looks great. I'm a happy customer, there.

However, I just purchased yourX-Plane versions of NYC and NYC Airports and they've got no Canarsie lights. Please advise. These really are mandatory pieces of approaches into KJFK

Best,

Marshall

I don't think it is possible to implement this type of lighting system into XP10.

Stan:

Impossible to run a string of flashing lights on an arbitrary piece of terrain?

I'm shocked. You guys have a well-deserved reputation for being wizards. How about designing a transparent stretch of highway, with sequentially lit street lamps? Or some kind of adapted approach light object?

Seriously--for KJFK, it's like Kai Tak without the Checkerboard. Or Mona Lisa, without the smile.

Best,

Marshall

Is there a way to change the apron and runway lights so that they are XPlane default instead of custom? Although the custom lights look OK I like the default ones better.

Hello. What is the current release version of this software? I purchased my copy on 27-NOV-2015 (from the x-plane.org store) and would like to know if I have the latest version (my documentation pdf says version 1.2) or if there is a newer version available for download.

Thank you.

I have e-mailed regarding this problem but as no-one has replied I thought I would try here. Anyway I too am getting pink squares around Linden and thought that it had been fixed for the version I have just bought. There was a fix in this forum but I cannot seem to download it. Any help would be appreciated.

You've sent your e-mail today morning... so how fast would you like the reply to be? We are currently checking for that issue.

Well considering you have already posted that it was fixed, I would like it to work from time of purchase.

Well, it was fixed but XP is "alive" and new versions of the sim are being published which might influence some sceneries. Anyway we will have the fix available soon.
