As a follow up - we just did a test flight UMMS-EPLB with the std. F18 and the terrain issue happened again - so it is reproducable on our systems. Reloading the scenery fixes the issue then.
If we can be of any more assistance just let me know.

Hi all, I have the same issue with the terrain over the runway at EPLB as has been reported by Carlos.
