How does this fix for P3D v3 work ?

Do I have to change something manually while it's installing ?

Good evening !

Is this also the reason why I can't install EPKK on P3D v3 ?
If i choose P3D on install, it shows a "could not find Prepar3D in registry" and then it quits.

Got the latest installer from Simmarket.
