I have also examined a real-world night landing following the Canarsie RW13L approach and the strobe lights look positively huge and blinding in intensity compared with the replication in the scenery. This is how I would expect the lights to operate for maximum clarity to aircrew.

Just tried a night approach under clear skies and thought the lead-in lights were a little underwhelming, resulting in some difficulty to follow the course to 13L in amongst all the other road lights etc. Would it be possible to revisit the Canarsie lights and make them rather more distinguishable, ...

I have not tried the lights at night just yet. A polite and courteous question to yourselves is: should the lead-in lights to 13L and 13R at KJFK be visible in daytime irrespective of the installation choice of the product itself?

I have just purchased the NY Airports v2 XP volume 1 with KJFK and am trying the VOR approach to runway 13L (the Canarsie approach). Where are the lead-in lights on the ground for 13L and 13R?
