Just did a flight into RJAA and performance was great. Visibility was low so I was doing an ILS approach into 34L. I noticed the glide slope seems very high. The ILS had me touching down mid runway and the papi lights were 4 white. Can someone verify the ILS for 34L.

First of all, very well done DDesign! Perfect piece of scenery, performance is butter even using 6GB of VRAM.

I confirm what was said before though, glideslope for ILS34L is way too flat near the rwy, I had 3 whites for first half of the final app (B748), and then went all the way to 4 whites. It needs to be corrected.

I just purchased this scenery, and although the airport itself is nicely done, I'm rather disappointed with how the scenery immediately around the airport blends in with the scenery outside the modeled area. There are very few buildings, the colors are washed out, and there is almost no vegetation, compared to the areas outside the airport vicinity. I flew in to Narita for 8 years, and the areas immediately around the airport did not look like this. The Narita Hilton Hotel, where the crews stayed is modeled well, but again the terrain surrounding it is nothing like it is in the real world. I own several DD products, and haven't seen this issue in any them. I wanted to upload a screen shot, but everything here is in Polish, so I' not sure how to do it.
Also, I'm not sure if this is a scenery issue or not, but I flew the ILS to RWY 34L and the aircraft was several hundred feet higher above the ground than it should have been, even though I was on the glide slope during the entire approach procedure. The VASI lights were all white, which indicates the aircraft is well above the glideslope. This wasn't the case with the old scenery I was using.

I hope the lack of scenery details around the airport will come with the release of Tokyo City.

Please try the attached file - it's necessary to choose and copy to the scenery folder the file RJAA_ADE.BGL which allign to your installation config, so with static or without static. Let us know if it's working fine now.

Does it look like on our screenshots ( http://www.drzewiecki-design.net/prodRJAA_P3D.htm ) or differently?
Do you have autogen and vegetation on max settings?

So happy this scenery has been launched!! :D :D

Just landed at night, and I appear to have no dynamic lighting. Running in p3d 4.5....

What are the files I should check to make sure its all installed correctly, seems to be the only bit not working

Two things I would like to add, GSX seems to freeze up with awaiting operqtion to finish(OperatingJetways) when ordering boarding, deboarding or pushback.

The winter scene is really nice but there isn't any snow away from the airport. If you set winter in the sim, the date it choses has no snow in Japan.

Also, I nearly forgot, shouldn't the terminal windows be more dark? (Especially T1) i understand this is no issue if you have shadows on.. but not everyone can afford that.

Dynamic lights should be in the following file: RJAA_ApronOBJ

Without it there will be dark at night in all aprons. Do you have it in the scenery folder?

If you load the plane in RJAA to start the flight, is DL there?

I think it may be worth asking FSDT about this behavior.

The point is that P3D generates snow textures in Japan too but if the weather is in the "snow mode". This is the specific of P3D.

I'm confused... is the attach RJAA file is to fix the runway 34L problem?
