Baked in Apron textures

Post by Piper9t3 »

I have updated UUEE to v1.3 and running P3D v2.4 and get this texture anomaly baked into the apron:

How to correct this problem?

Piperr9t3,

Do you use AES v2.37?
A similar issue with another scenery in combination with the latest AES was posted here:
http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/to ... s-enabled/

As far as I can see, this is caused by AES and not the scenery itself.

It has nothing to do with textures - it is a mesh problem, caused probably by another file containing mesh for this area (like a dublicated AFCAD or another 3rd party mesh). AFCADs are commonly provided by AI-traffic probams as well, you might even not know you have one custom AFCAD already installed.

Hi,
Installing v1.3 the exe.xml file is not been appended but overwritten therefore deleting existing entries. Fortunately I have a backup.

Checked this twice.

Ok thanks for reply. I do have 3rd party mesh and using UT2 for AI traffic. Today I loaded UUEE same gate location and did not get this problem? How can I check if custom AFCAD is installed?

AFAIK UT installs custom AFCADs indeed.

The original exe.xml containing several other entries that are removed upon installing v1.3 UUEE.

Having replaced with a backup I tested again, with the same result.

BEFORE v1.3:

Code: Select all

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252"?>
<SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0">
  <Descr>Launch</Descr>
  <Filename>exe.xml</Filename>
  <Disabled>False</Disabled>
  <Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad>
  <Launch.Addon>
    <Name>Couatl</Name>
    <Disabled>False</Disabled>
    <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
    <Path>fsdreamteam\couatl\couatl.exe</Path>
  </Launch.Addon>
  <Launch.Addon>
    <Name>EZdok camera addon</Name>
    <Disabled>false</Disabled>
    <Path>C:\Program Files (x86)\EZCA\EZCA.exe</Path>
  </Launch.Addon>
  <Launch.Addon>
    <Name>FLSFSV2</Name>
    <Disabled>False</Disabled>
    <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
    <Path>H:\FSX\FlyLogic\SeasonFileSwitcherV2\SeasonFileSwitcherV2.exe</Path>
  </Launch.Addon>
  <Launch.Addon>
    <Disabled>False</Disabled>
    <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
    <Name>UT2</Name>
    <Path>H:\FSX\\Flight One Software\Ultimate Traffic 2\UT2Services.exe</Path>
    <NewConsole>True</NewConsole>
  </Launch.Addon>
  <Launch.Addon>
    <Name>SODE</Name>
    <Disabled>False</Disabled>
    <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
    <Path>H:\FSX\SODE\SimObjectDisplayEngine.exe</Path>
  </Launch.Addon>
</SimBase.Document>
AFTER v1.3

Code: Select all

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252"?>
<SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0">
  <Descr>Launch</Descr>
  <Filename>exe.xml</Filename>
  <Disabled>False</Disabled>
  <Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad>
  <Launch.Addon>
    <Name>SODE</Name>
    <Disabled>False</Disabled>
    <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
    <Path>H:\FSX\SODE\SimObjectDisplayEngine.exe</Path>
  </Launch.Addon>
</SimBase.Document>
I have backups, obviously others are going to hit issues.

My statement is based that there was an entry for FSDG couatl.exe and the UT2services.exe before, and now only the SODE entry is in the exe.xml

UT2 doesn´t install AFCADs.

I can also confirm that after installing version 1.3, only SODE is left in my exe.xml. EZCA, which was also in there before the installation, is now gone.

Hi

Is there meanwhile a solution for this problem? I tried to install Version 1.4 last friday and after that, I was not able to use GSX anymore. It was not listed in my add-ons. Evan a re-install didn't help.
Fortunately I did a whole backup before the installation.

Ok, thanks for your information.
Is it still under investigation? The few stutters on flying arround are disturbing.
