Can you post the screenshot to show how do they look like?

Can you also provide your information.cfg file located in Prepar3D v4\Addon Scenery\New York City X\Documents?

Thanks.

In cfg file everything looks ok.
Any other addons in your sim? Our scenery is on top in case of priority?

That seemed to do the trick, the scenery is currently priority 1. Thank you for your help!!!

Is there a New York City X Demo for P3Dv5?

No, our demo installers have not been updated to P3D v5 and there are no such plans.

Hey guys,

I've just bought NYC V2.6 on Simmarket and the installer crashes just after it asks me to select where to place the scenery folder. I got in touch with them about the issue and they said to come here. Is there any way to get a fresh installer or even just manual files from you guys to get that resolved?

Cheers,
Blake

Hi.
We would need more details and perhaps a screenshot of the crash moment. I believe it to be the first-ever report about such an installer behavior.

Okay thats fine.

As I'll show in these screenshots, the installer is fine until I hit the install button in the third screenshot and then crashes to desktop. When I check where the files should be (Screenshot 4) they have not installed.

Is there any error message? Or you maybe have any in the Windows event logs?
Secondly do you run our installer with admin rights?
The another thing, which theoretically might have impact, is that your sim is in Program Files, which sometimes is being protected by Windows. General advise is to have sim installed in the separate directory. Maybe Windows defender?

Ok, this is definitely not the installer's issue. I'd say that perhaps an antivirus software is preventing our installer from installing any files. All install paths seem normal.

Please disable the antivirus software for the install and try installing with admin rights, as Martin wrote above.

One more thing - do you use any "symbolic links" or "junctions"? Our NYC installer might not work with such solutions (only our MSFS installers do).

I've just tried installing the scenery again with the anti-virus completely turned off. No difference in how the installer behaves and no files installed either.

It also doesn't produce any error messages in Windows Logs either
