Has there been a solution to the mesh problem at KEWR in Prepar3d v5?

Regards
Ralf

You need to describe the problem with more details as this package was updated to be compatible with P3D v5 and there shouldn't be any mesh problem at KEWR.

Can you send some screenshots?
What scenery version have you installed?
What other addons do you have?
Can you let us know where our scenery is placed in the scenery library?

Before I install 2.6 I'd like to uninstall 2.5. What's the proper way of uninstalling? This is with P3Dv3.4.22.19868

If the scenery was added via add-on.xml (which means that it is not possible to remove it manually from the Scenery library), you only need to remove the respective folders from the following location: ...\Users\username\Documents\Prepar3D v3 Add-ons and then remove the scenery folder from "Addon Scenery" folder. Then start the sim.

If the entry of scenery can be removed from the "Scenery Library" manually, please do this, close the simulator and afterwards remove the respective folders from "Addon Scenery" - that should be enough.

You may also remove the appropriate files from SODE folders, which you may find here: C:\Program Files\12bPilot\SODE

Hi there, as I'm updating NYC Airports, I'm wondering how to do GSX and SODE VDGS customization or if there's files for that somewhere? I'm a bit of a newbie to messing with scenery files, but I'd like to get the VDGS to work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi!
Regarding SODE VGDS - such feature has not been implemented in NY Airports v2 X yet.
Regarding GSX - I'm not sure which customization do you mean regarding this addon, but you may be interested in the following package: https://secure.simmarket.com/javier-itu ... ions.phtml

Thanks for the reply Martin, but I'm on P3D V5 and I messaged Cartanya Files on FB. He said the project stopped prior to P3D V5. If you know how to install those files I'd greatly appreciate the help!

I do not have much experience with Cartayna files, but as I mentioned - if you are working on configuration of GSX Level 2, you may buy the access to Cartayna files on Simmarket for free (see link below) and you should have the access to all hitherto-exisiting config files, including some dedicated to Drzewiecki Design's sceneries.

Hi,

just downloaded and installed. You said you updated KEWR AFCAD. Where do I park on C gates with my United 777 or 787? Regarding to official EWR map, they are supposed to have some gates for heavy AC.

Why is the AFCAD not up to date?
Thank's
Yves

Yves, you may park at all gates big enough to handle 777 and 787.

look here please
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newark_Li ... Terminal_C, especialy "Terminal C has multiple gates that can handle wide-body aircraft and narrow body aircraft. Gates C123 and C138 have two jet bridges, often used for Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Boeing 777 aircraft"
On the google maps pictures you can see some double jetways, surely not for small gates and other gates also for heavy planes.
I'll search and send you more infiormations.

Well, I know that, but I am not sure what is missing from our scenery. Is the problem about connecting 2 jetways?

I tried to park a heavy AC at C gates, and all are small or medium.
