Re: Seattle City X
Guys, what is the "SeattleCityX to NO.reg" registry entry that can be found on the documents directory?

This is used for the installation purposes only.
If you click it the registry will set the SeattleCityX value to NO.

Re: Seattle City X
i just downloaded the Seattle city demo. It places me behind some high dirt berm although I'm supposed to be on the active runway of Sea-Tac airport. The scenery is spectacular, but the takeoff spot is bad. This is home country to me.
How do I uninstall the demo to install the full version?

First point - I just lost a long posting when I clicked on preview - I hope that is not normal! I will try again and see if this appears.

Re: Seattle City X
Sadly this one may not be as clear as my original!
Firstly the scenery looks great!
I have bought Seattle City and Seattle Airports mainly for Flight Sim World. (I have FSX and FSX-SE, but have other Seattle s/w for these).
A few questions:
1) When installing, SODE only gave the path options for FSX and FSX-SE, therefore I don't think SODE is installed. One cannot manually change the path options.
2) Is SODE actually used in FSW?
3) I do not see any figures?
4) Whilst installing the airports I think I had the option of installing the City Demo? I purchased and installed the City a day later - would that install have removed any demo s/w not required, or do I need to re run the installer to remove the City, run a copy of the City demo with boxes unchecked and then start again?
5) I noticed runway texture bleed-through unless the 'Graphics' setting was at maximum - is that what you intended? I also had berms around some runways until I either set that, or the 'Scenery' setting to maximum. Is that what you would expect?
Thank you.

I just wanted to add that your CTD for FSW worked for me!

Re: Seattle City X
Hi.
1) This is correct.
2) Negative, SODE is not compatible with FSW so we have implemented static version of all SODE content.
3) What do you mean by "Figures"?
4) This should have been removed automatically.
5) FSW does not always do what is expected.

Re: Seattle City X
I just went to correct 'CTD fix' to the last posting and got:
"You can no longer edit or delete that post"
Frustrating - never had that before!

Thank you for speedy reply!
I was meaning human figures as in the advert pix.

Re: Seattle City X
The figures should be placed in exactly same locations as on the promo screenshots indeed (depending on whether static aircraft were installed or no).

Re: Seattle City X
As you explained, I found the human figures eventually!
If the interiors are unticked, is there a performance hit?
Everything else is now working well! Thank you! I might even contemplate loading it into FSX at some point to replace my other scenery. This has a high load of flight traffic, can one still have some of your static models with gates available?
