Should I understand that you copied our missing effects files?

Re: New York City X
thanks. These were already in my effects library in P3DV5. I was just saying that dynamic lighting is not working with pbr aircraft at JFK (Tried with Maddog MD88 and PMDG 747)

Re: New York City X
this is what I mentioned about V5 effects having to be different than V4 sometimes.

Re: New York City X
However it's little bit strange, because your last screenshot doesn't show dynamic lighting at all. Do you have it at the other airports? We are talking about P3D v5, right? Can you show how does it look like with non-PBR plane at the same place? And last but not least - please confirm which version of our scenery do you have installed (just in case).
Re: New York City X
this is definetly not unique to just your airports. But I noticed the same issue at DCA,JFK, EWR. Noticed it at a different LGA. Noticed it at BOS,YUL,MSP. So many others. My understanding is it requires totally different effects compared to V4 effects to work. Yes talking about V5. I'm not sure where to get the version. But in my documents folder in the NY Airports v2 there is an information.cfg file that says I am running NY Airports V2 X. (The pdf of the manual says y airports V2 X V2.5. Is there a different way to get the version number?
Re: New York City X
jfk the lighting appears very dim even for non pbr aircraft.

Re: New York City X
if it helps. ORBX, LatinVFR have rolled out a few updates that fix the problem. They have had to change some fx files
