Good, that explains it .

So you've checked that the beta version of SU6 fixes the 60% freeze when bought through MS Marketplace, haven't you?

FWIW -> Confirming that the MSFS Store bought Chicago Landmarks no longer crashes for me either. TY for getting this fixed.

It has to be said that anytime I see a product carrying the name Drzewiecki Design I know Im getting the best quality out there. Your Moscow Landmarks and UUEE airport is a beauty to behold. Same goes for Seattle Landmarks and all the other products you have released.
You guys need some praise after all the problems SU6 gave you. Again, well done Drzewiecki Design

I completely second that.

Now that problems caused by SU5 seem to be finally over, I'm eagerly awaiting for new wonderful creations by Drzewiecki.
However, I'm virtually sure that SU6 will bring other problems, as every Sim Update has.
And even if it doesn't, I've lost all my trust in MS/Asobo support, after it has taken 3 months for them to fix the 60% freeze problem, without any single information in the official forum in the meanwhile. Only related info came from Drzewiecki!! (thanks also for this).

Consequently, I'll do my best to avoid buying from the MS Marketplace from now on.

Thanks for sharing your conclusions - it was not an easy time for us either. On the other hand - each of the simulators had better and worse days, so let's live with the hope that the better ones are ahead 8)

Hi Team,

I can finally load into Chicago, but for some reason the LOD takes a while to load and it all pops up suddenly and causes a temporary pause/freeze. Once the scenery loads in, frames stabilize. This tends to cause an issue when flying into KORD. I can see the coast of Lake Michigan but no buildings and all the sudden everything pops in. I’m using an LOD 250 now, but even with a lower LOD it happens. So don’t see why it’s not generating before hand. Is that an optimization that can be added so that it blends in a bit more when loading instead of the sudden pop, and maybe smooth out how it loads in?

Thanks!

Hello I have the same issue where the city scenery doesn't appear until your close to it. As someone else said I can see KORD and the shoreline, and the default photogrammetry scenery around downtown, but the city itself doesn't appear until you're about 15-20 miles from it then it pops in and loads all at once causing a freeze for a few seconds. Also, any chance you'd tone down the lighting on the city buildings? They look great but the buildings glow as if the surface of them is illuminated, and from a distance at night the city is waaay too bright. In real life (I live here) there is some lights projecting onto the downtown buildings, but overall the buildings still mostly appear dark / black with the windows or tops of the buildings being illuminated, not the entire buildings. If you could possibly consider making a darker 'night' version of downtown that matches reality better? During the day there is no problem, it looks extremely realistic. Thanks for a great scenery.

Just want to add this only happens when you fly into Chicago from a distance far away enough that it doesn’t load within the loading screen. If you spawn in or near Chicago, it loads completely and it’s a non-issue

Let us take a look - some changes have been introduced in case of LODS by Asobo, so it's theoretically possible that some adjustments are needed.

Hi

please can you let me know where I need to send a video of the performance I am getting in Chicago?

I am now down to about 10fps, I have a lot of your other designs and they are beautiful - but this one is failing for me personally.
It seems to get progressively worse FPS as I get closer and recovers as i get away from the centre.

Tried in lots of planes - always bad.
