In the latest version, the org store still only provided a zip file without the configuration files to remove static aircrafts.

We provide both versions to each store - it's not our decision which version is given to the customers in the respective store. But using the zip version you should be able to do the same config - just you need to do this manually according to the attached instructions.

was at the org store and noticed there was update for the DC scenery,... thanks for fixing the White House front steps (and the other stuff as well)

anyway FWIW noticed one slight error, when starting a fight from the "White House Helipad" XKWHH,... what actually happens on my MacStudio is the helicopter is placed in the building right next door to the White House

started exploring of the scenery and took a hop from the White House over to Joint Base Andrews to check out the presidential 747 (yeah I know this is base is a "lite" version BUT since this is xplane, have a suggestion for an "easter egg,..." what about putting an Alia 250 on the ramp (which actually is based on a real world demo flight)

There is no such folder called X-Plane \Custom Scenery\ [Our Scenery folder] \ INSTALLER in the files you provided to the org store
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

The X-plane limitation is causing this - helipads can't have flattens so they are marked as airports. Airports must have 1 runway at least, so we have runways with all helipads in scenery and they are hidden inside the nearest buildings. So before flying from the helipad check in the menu which helipad is chosen as the start location.

I'm truly sorry - you are right. We will add this option in the next update.

Indeed, there was some mess up with the files. This is why it is best to use our installer, which does everything automatically.
X-Plane.org got the installer too - please contact them directly if the hadn't shared it with you.
