Re: NY Airports v2 XP
Just installed NY Airports V2 vol.1 from the X-plane.org site and also the NY City scenery from orbx.direct. After removing the user nav data file, everything works fine with good frame rates and good resolution. The only problems I have encountered at KJFK are that X-Plane 12 positions my plane, 737, 757, 777, too far from the gate, about 20 feet back from where it should be but otherwise well aligned with the gate. Is there a file I can tweek to adjust these positions? Also none of my SAM plugins will activate the ramp. Finally, what was the content of the user nav data file I deleted and what did you use it for? If it's important to airport functionality, maybe I can tweek it as well. I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing low demand from the X-Plane 12 crowd. Not sure why as your airports and scenery are as good as anything else on the site. Maybe get XPlaneReviews to do another review and get Dominic to post your releases on the Forum page?

Nice to hear that you like our products.
Regarding your questions:
Please also bear in mind that it's not allowed to modify our source files, so I suggest not working on any changes on your own.
Regarding your questions:
User nav.dat contains navigation data only (coordinates, frequency, heading, and type of navigation). It has nothing to do with performance or resolution.
This scenery is not compatible with SAM and jetways are not animated in this particular product.
First of all, this product is not compatible with XP12 and has never been advertised like this. XP12 has a different interpretation of coordinates than XP11 and many things in this scenery might have the wrong position in XP12, not only stands.AshevilleSkyPilot wrote: ↑Monday 04 Nov 2024, 17:00 X-Plane 12 positions my plane, 737, 757, 777, too far from the gate

I'm really looking forward to the porting of your new KEWR to XP12Martin_Starski wrote: ↑Sunday 29 Sep 2024, 09:20 Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We are considering converting some of our MSFS airports to XP12, but it's not an easy process. On the other hand, to be honest, the low level of interest in buying products for XP12 does not encourage greater involvement in such projects.
