I'm having an issue with the jetways. They all pair/mate up nicely with the static a/c. However, when activated on my Toliss A20N, at gate A11, the leading edge of the jetway was halfway into the fuselage.
After relocating to another gate (B12), the jetway was closer to the exterior of the a/c but was not close enough to appear attached. In other words, still a gap between it and the fuselage/door area. These are with SAM activated, by the way.

Hopefully this will be fixed in an update or patch. Otherwise, nicely done!

Almost forgot, this is the Windows installer version, and I'm using the latest XP12.2.0b2 beta.

I was hoping to install KMDW in my standard XP12v1.4, since I have it initially in my XP12v2.0.2b beta. However, the installer does not have an option to install to a second XP location on my pc. Is there any way to do this?

Please check the attached file and let us know if it's ok. You need to add those entries to the existing user_nav.dat file - when you install it by the installer - those entries will be automatically added to the file.

So it depends on the gate, right? What about another scenery that has SAM jetways? Is everything ok with the same plane there?

It's a non-standard situation, but have you tried to install this scenery manually using our zip file? These are the same files as in exe, just you need to install them manually.

Yes, SAM jetways are all mating up with my Toliss aircraft as they should in my other 3rd party airport sceneries.

What zip file are you referring to? The only one I have available from the x-plane store is the exe for windows and the zip for linux and mac. If you are referring to that particular file (mac/linux), I'll take a look and see.

Thanks.

Ok, first issue resolved - the KMDW zip file for MAC/Linus does in fact work as the manual install method with XPlane 12. It worked as advertised in my XP12 beta.

Second issue, however, is still there - jetway doesn't stop at aircraft fuselage, but penetrates 1/2 way or more through the aircraft. Strange enough, the jetways mate up with the static a/c just fine.

Yes, I was referring to the zip for Linux and Mac.

I will check the jetways issue. For the statics, they are just placed in the editor, but for the animated jetways, profiles have been created into X-plane.

Hello :)

I just bought KMDW for XP 12 from the store.x-plane.

Unfortunately I am facing a lot of issues.

Runway 31C is falsely labeled and declared as Runway 31R. That obviously causes a lot of issues.
Runway 31R is kinda missing completely...

Since the markings are baked in as .obj, I am not able to change anything (beside the wrong XP runway in the .apt) by myself.

Am I only having an outdated version, (I know the store sometimes is way behind update schedule) or is it just a mistake in the airport itself and needs to be fixed?

thank you already for the help :)

Best regards

Hey Martin,

no worries. Thank you.

Regarding 13L/31R... although its repurposed as "Taxiway H" - the runway has still an active approach (RNP 13L/31R) and according to the latest charts also available approach lights...

However, I am not there and I have no idea how the situation looks in real life. I dont think 13L/31R is used anymore, BUT looking at all the official information I dont think that (ex) runway is now a "real" taxiway (as depicted in the scenery) ... I assume its still the same runway, but not used anymore as runway and temporary disabled - but still a runway...

My colleague responsible for XP12 promised to take a look at it in the coming days, so we need to be patient for a moment. However, I remember we created this scenery including the expected changes.

BTW: Can you send some screenshots and show exactly what is wrong? I'd like to be sure that we are on the same page.
