Re: Chicago City X
Well if not possible to make xml files, can you provide all of your SDX files edited by adding SODE nodes?

I'm afraid nowadays it's not possible - we will consider this in the future, but please also remember that your case is very specific.

Re: Chicago City X
Hello,
Upon arriving last night into KORD, the runway lights are very dark / essentially non-existent. I can see the PAPI lights,, but not the runway edge lights nor the approach lights.
I am on P3D v 4.5, I do *not use HDR, I do use ORBX. And I do fly in VR (Oculus). Flying over 'stock' scenery airports in the vicinity , such as KDPA or KARR - the runway lights look fine. Your scenery looks amazing but that is one heck of a challenging approach to land the 737 on KORD 28R with no lights.
Please advise, I must have a setting wrong somewhere ?
thanks and keep up your great work .

Hi.
Please make sure that you have SODE installed and active. This might also be related to mip-map settings of the graphic processor.

Re: Chicago City X
Have you tried to reinstall SODE and then our scenery with admin rights?
You may also check if SODE is working properly in your sim ( all details about SODE tools allowing to check it are described in the SODE user guide here: https://sode.12bpilot.ch/?page_id=9)
The lighting should look exactly as on those promo screenshots (unedited obviously) and visible many miles from runways.
You may also show us how it looks like via 1-2 screenshots.

Re: Chicago City X
Hello!
I have an issue when flying at night to Chicago (in New York it is the same). I do not have any lights in the city, and I see a distinct boundary between photoscenery and elsewhere.
I use Prepar3D V4.5+HF2 + Black Marble Night Lights + Extended Pack.
After reaching out to Black Marble support it was adviced to ask You "if there's a global library objects exclude, if so which file is it?"
I am looking forward to your help,
Regards

Re: Chicago City X
Hi,
I have installed Chicago X city and airports and OEBX KCGX today. Everything looks fine so far, just the marina next to Meigs airport is missing - compare the ORBX product screenshots.

How can I fix this?
Boris
PS: Oh, when I am logged in to the forum, it is in Polish language
how do I get this back to English?

borisvp, frankly the language in your account is set to English. Do you see the forum in Polish indeed?

Yep, I found the setting later, with the help of Google translator.
What about my marina?

Re: Chicago City X
My guess would be that boats/yachts were simply stored somewhere safe for the winter season...

Re: Chicago City X
Nah, no boats in summer either.
In case you are interested, the file "CHI_Exclude.bgl" in the Chicago X scenery folder suppresses the marina. I have turned it off now, but I'm not sure what else this probably did.
Maybe you want to have a look at it.

Re: Chicago City X
This is the one that removes the ORBX's city buildings, so perhaps you have now either two cities active or simply the ORBX's one (the one from the Meigs product).

Chicago City X - City Not Showing Up - All black where city should be
Hello - I am not sure what is going on here. I use P3dv5 and have the Orbx Meigs package as well as the DD Chicago Airports and City X. For some reason my Chicago downtown is completely empty with a black ground. Not sure what is going on here but any help would be appreciated.
Cheers, Pete
