Yout can't do that in GSX for MSFS 2024, that was a 2020 feature only. For 2024 they are disabled for all airports as default.

But it has to be something with GSX, not with our scenery.

Other GSX user discovered, that it might have been the rolling cache. He found in the settings that it has been put back to default location, so he changed it, deleted the file and let it rebuild. Maybe it might help.

I've been fiddling around for over an hour now. I uninstalled GSX, deleted the rolling cache, deleted the scenery indexes, emptied the stream packages folder, and reinstalled the scenery. None of this helped.

But I finally found the error. It does have something to do with the scenery. It only affects the gates occupied by static planes. I deactivated them in the INI manager because they annoy me when flying online on Vatsim. When I reactivate the static planes, the jetways are back and permanently connected to the static aircraft. Can't the jetways simply be created like they are at the other positions, so that they are independent of the static aircraft? And that the AFCAD is created so that the positions of static planes can also be selected in the menu? I can't use the positions of the removed static planes when flying online, because GSX dont recognize them as parking positions.

But in our case, the jetways should be fully independent from the static planes. Definitely, it works correctly with our installer. Can you maybe ask IniBuild whether it's not their fault? I would explain to them again what is happening and that you discussed it with us as well.

How do I remove the static aircraft from the scenery if it is possible being streamed.

Also managed to buy this through the marketplace. How do i return the product? Cant use it since i only use vatsim. And why isn't it advised that it cant be turned off before you buy it? False advertising since i never would have bought it there if i knew. Can we solve this easily buy either giving me my money back or a new version from you?

You can transfer your airport from msfs to contrail if you open a ticket at them. Search for “transfer dlc from msfs to contrail” it worked for me

We are the authors but we did not sell you anything. We do only B2B business. You should ask for a refund from the company that sold you the product - MS in this case. It works like this for all stores and developers, except for those selling in their own stores.
Some screenshots show you exactly what the product looks like. A product looks exactly as in the promo shots, and it was never mentioned that any elements of it could be removed (so MS might decline the refund request). Marketplace installers are built by MS and cannot include options (never!); static aircraft in our products can only be removed in our own installers or created by some stores, for example Orbx. Last but not least, VATSIM and AI traffic do not care if static aircraft are present or not. In VATSIM you simply log in at a free stand and after landing request to taxi to a stand that is not occupied. AI will simply park next to static aircraft. There really is no big issue with static aircraft.

MSFS2024, jetway stand 13 i 14 nie łączą się poprawnie z samolotami a350 i 777 innych nie sprawdzałem. Ale na mniejszych samolotach i innych standach też miewałem problemy.
Czy to bug scenerii? Coś jest mocno nie tak o wymaga aktualizacji. Mówimy o topowym twórcy i jednej z flagowych scenerii.
