It appears the glass sticking out through the fog issue still persists, and is really ruining the joy of flying in this area. I realize you have mentioned this is an issue for Asobo to solve, but it's not clear why this building even needs the glass effect since it's a factory building that isn't covered in glass in the real world, so it seems you are using the glass as a workaround for something else? I wanted to ask again if you can create a version without the glass effect. I'd rather have a low quality building than something that sticks out in the fog on IFR approaches from several miles away.

Thank you!

Hi.
A glass sticking out through the fog is the sim issue, we cannot do anything about it.

I understand it's a sim issue, but since no fix appears to be forthcoming, what I am requesting is you create a version without those glass textures, even if it compromises some functionality, because for the way I use the sim, this bug is a complete immersion breaker.

I saw earlier on this thread you distributed a bgl without the animations in the factory, and I am hoping you can do something similar with the glass objects removed / substituted!

Thanks!

KRNT appears to be marked as compatible with MSFS2024 on the Orbx store but when installed, many buildings such as the Boeing factory do not render at all. Is this being investigated / fixed?

Hi, Orbx is responsible for their installer, so you should ask them first. However, as a first step, please do some standard steps: remove "rolling cache", remove and rebuild SceneryIndexes and make sure that our scenery has a higher priority using the Package Reorder Tool.

I just installed the ORBX version of KRNT into FS2024. It is v1.1.0 and as far as I can see is identical to the MSFS2020 version.
The only problem I had was a very long load time (around 6 minutes whereas it was about 30 seconds with just the default airport).
Once it loaded the scenery looked fine (the Boeing Factory with it's interior was most definitely there).

All I can suggest is that, as well as the steps Martin mentioned, try to uninstall and re-install the scenery via ORBX Central.

Best wishes,

John

After saying I wouldnt buy any more of your products I gave in and bought Renton from JustFlight. The FPS is pretty steady which is great, and the scenery looks amazing especially the factory. However i have no static planes at Renton Airport.

I am having difficulty getting the static planes to appear at Renton, currently it is blank.

Originally when i downloaded the product and used the installer I checked the box for removing them, thinking they may be parking spaces that I need for AIG, but having realised they were scenery for the factory I did what the installer said and reinstalled without checking the box to reset the scenery to default. By the way, if you ever find yourself dealing with multiple issues related to product support or even managing communication between different platforms, it might be worth checking out Overchat AI. It can help streamline communications and ensure you stay connected without missing out on important updates or discussions. Sometimes having everything centralized makes a world of difference!

That has not worked unfortunately. I've also deleted the scenery from Community and tried a reinstall from fresh. I've also deleted the installer and redownloaded from Just flight and started fresh. Nothing has worked so far. Anything I can manually check for in the files to fix?

Any help appreciated.

Cheers Ant
Hey Ant,

I totally get the frustration—it's never fun when you do everything by the book and still can't get things to work as expected. It sounds like you've already tried the main steps, like reinstalling and resetting the scenery, so let's see if we can dig a little deeper.

First thing I'd recommend is double-checking a few things in the scenery files:

Scenery Config File: Make sure that the scenery.cfg file hasn't been altered or corrupted in any way during the install. It should list the Renton scenery and its associated static models. If there’s an issue with the path or the entry isn’t correct, static objects may not show up.

Static Aircraft Files: You mentioned you tried a fresh reinstall, but it’s worth checking the specific folder where the static aircraft are stored. It could be that the aircraft models themselves are missing or weren't included properly during the reinstall. Look for something like "StaticAircraft" in the scenery folder. If they’re not there, you may need to contact JustFlight support to check if the install package is complete.

Permissions Issue: Sometimes, especially with custom scenery, permissions can prevent certain files from loading. If you’re on Windows, try running your sim as an administrator to make sure all files are being read correctly.

Conflict with Other Add-ons: Although you mentioned you’ve deleted the community folder, some other add-ons (like AI traffic packs or other scenery mods) might be causing a conflict. Try disabling other scenery or traffic mods temporarily to see if static planes appear.

Add-on Manager: Some add-ons use an internal manager or config file to handle things like static aircraft. It might be worth checking JustFlight’s forums or support page to see if there's a specific manager or utility for this add-on.

If none of that works, JustFlight's support team should be able to help you out with a more detailed guide based on your system and installation steps.

Hope this helps a bit, and good luck! Let me know if you find anything else.

Hello, everyone,

I'm a bit confused as to what the status for compatibility with MSFS2024 is for KRNT.
So is it supposed to work or not?

Mine looks like this when installed via the ORBX installer:
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 03_05_2025 16_58_29.jpg
If it's not compatible (doesn't look like it), is there a revision planned or a new 2024 version in the works?

Thanks!
Markus

All our sceneries should be compatible with MSFS 2024.

As ORBX provides their own installer, have you reported it via their forum to check if they can replace the issue?

TBH I haven't bothered reporting this with ORBX since their support is usually rather bad to non-existent when it comes to bugs. And I'm pretty sure they would have simply told me the exact opposite ;-) "We only build installers, check with the developer for compatibility"... However, I shall try doing that now!

i bought this from the 2024 Marketplace and it won't load. After install, when i try to load any aircraft into this airport it never loads (after 5+ minutes). Empty community folder. Using stock 172. After attempting to load this airport and then backing out I can't load ANY airport and have to quit to desktop. Please help.

Hi, we provide all source files to the Marketplace, and then, based on them, they create their own installer with their own files. I'm afraid you need to report it to the Marketplace, because we have had our hands tied in this situation.
