New York City XP
Latest version: v1.6 (2018)
The floating object problem has already been previously posted under your section dealing with your New York City scenery. It is not a new problem. Several comments were posted dealing with the issue. I am just one of many. Doesn't matter now since I have removed your scenery and replaced it with freeware. Your solution was to wait on the X-Plane developers to fix it. That won't be happening. Another $36.00 wasted unless I can revert to an earlier version of X-Plane.

This scenery is designed to be viewed at a normal flying altitude, not from the ground level in the middle of the Manhattan. There are 6500+ custom buildings and it is possible that some 5% of those are floating. Obviously you won't have this problem with 100 buildings or in an autogen-only scenery.
What do you mean by the earlier version of XP?mikeaday wrote:Another $36.00 wasted unless I can revert to an earlier version of X-Plane.

Helipads issues and Reflection issues
Hi,
wonderful scenery, two small issues: I use the scenery primarily to fly Helicopter.
- many helipads are in bad shape, except your high detailed ones, I suggest you Access all through the map, check them and fix them (under Buildings, under roads, misshaped, trees on helipad autogenerated etc).
- the reflections on the Buildings look really bad, as they update too slow (980 TI in most current PC Setup otherwise).
Is there a way to turn just the reflections on Buildings off?
thanks,
Olaf

A few more Bugs like flying Buildings (not sure if you Need a specific mesh over what the package contains?), road going into the river and helipads in water or under Buildings examples:

Hello!
I'm wondering about compatibility with Ortho4XP?
I've generated ortho tiles for the whole northeast US region, but I've found some areas (notably in Central NJ) where it seems the default terrain textures are showing. If I disable DD NYC scenery, the orthophoto textures re-appear.
Is there a known incompatibility with Ortho4XP and the DD NYC scenery? Is there a method I can use to get the best of both?
Both screen caps below were taken about 7800 feet directly above the threshold of rwy 42 at Solberg Hunterdon Airport (N51), with a heading of 42 degrees.
With DD NYC installed:

With DD NYC disbled:

Hi there,
I've just bought this excepional add-on, but I've encountered a weird problem:
some buildings looks as they should, like these:
http://i.imgur.com/bkI6gGj.png
but others are completely distorted ad covered with very low quality textures. Here some examples:
http://i.imgur.com/69juFQi.png
http://i.imgur.com/B2OxmoJ.png
http://i.imgur.com/q1tGIUu.png
http://i.imgur.com/ldg8g6U.png
http://i.imgur.com/s2oOUih.png
I've correctly installed the add-on and I didn't see any related error in x-plane log file.
In the manual there are no instructions about how to change texture resolution, so I'm a bit lost
Any clue or advice?
Thanks in advance.

Hello.
The product should look exactly as on promo screenshots/movies: http://www.drzewiecki-design.net/prodNYCity_XP.htm . The product is designed for normal aerial operations on flight routes and proper altitudes, like this: http://www.drzewiecki-design.net/images ... Cxp_05.jpg . It is not designed for extreme close-ups and flying between the buildings. For example try the Hudson River route at 1000ft agl.

Hello Ron. There is a dedicated topic for NY Airports XP product. Please describe your problem there. This topic is for another product.
Clay, the vendor promised to provide the newest version of the product to Customers as soon as possible and confirmed, that they received the newest version in December 2016 but failed to upload it due to their mistake.
