Hi.
Did you update NYC to v1.6?
It will be quite "heavy" in any case since the city is very large... and it was developed in 2012 when we had no idea of some things that we learned during our next projects. But anyway, it runs acceptable on most setups including commercial flight sims. Sure it is not "ideal" but it should run smoothly at 3/4 value of the graphic settings (and actually at "very low" our buildings might not be displayed at all!).

Not sure how to tell what version of NYC I am using. I checked my confirmation emails, and it was not noted there. Can you advise how to tell the version? My last purchase was on 9/22/17.

Upgrade for NYC
Ok, took some time to find the manual, but I did and it is 1.5. I tried to find the 1.6 version, but on checking the X-Plane site, it did not show what the version was that was offered. Can you provide a link for the 1.6 version, and just asking if having the prior version if there was any discount, as there was for the 6 NY Airports, V2? Thanks and great products.
Oh, I set the graphics settings all down to medium, and was able to fly NYC ok? But, if you think the 1.6 version is still better on memory than 1.5, I'll go for it.

Update
Just for your info, not clear on the X-Plane site how to actually upgrade versus buying it again. If you go under products, it shows NYC with a purchase cost. What you have to do is go to your Account under prior downloads, and download it again from there. However there is nothing there indicating what the version is, whether the same as the original download or a new one. You have to wait for the entire download to complete and then unzip the file and only then can you confirm that this download was indeed the 1.6 version. Not sure how much pull you have for their site, but possibly you can ask them to make it a little clearer?? Again, all set and thanks for your help.

Re: New York City XP
Is there a problem with KEWR - Newark? It is all loaded in fine but all the carparks are all grass and not hard or covered in... all the other airports are fine?

Re: New York City XP
It seems that you have selected the option to install the product without ground textures, which is useful if you have another ground textures installed. If this is not the case, please use the option to install both static aircraft and ground textures.

Okay, buuuuut I use WorldTraffic3 and that is why I didn't want the static aircraft? Is there any way I can load the ground textures without the static aircraft? Thanks SD

New York City XP - West 30th Street Heliport (KJRA)
The first West 30th Street Heliport (KJRA) spot / pad is not allowing take-off / landing: when attempting to touch the ground or lift off,
the chopper loses its tail rotor and does not recover. See the screenshot attached.

Re: New York City XP
The New York scenery is light years ahead of anything I have used, I have really been enjoying it. The only critizism I have is that two bridges the Triboro or recently named RFK and the Hellgate bridges that are near KLGA are not rendered. Is there any chance that an update will include them.
