RJAA Tokyo Narita MSFS
Latest version: v1.3 (2023)
Re: RJAA Tokyo Narita MSFS
Have you updated your MSFS airports with custom taxi way lighting or are you still using the default centerline greens?

I'm afraid it's not possible to use the custom lights in MSFS. We try to keep them in line but generally such lights are generated by the sim.
Re: RJAA Tokyo Narita MSFS
I thought these were made available by now? Flytampa (CYYZ, YSSY) and Flightbeam (NZAA) all seem to have custom taxiway and highspeed runway exit lighting. Do you plan to update this in the future?

At the moment we are not ready to change this. As far as I know, it's pretty much a SDK question. I am sure that we see more variation the more time that goes by with the SDK being updated and thus we will find new ways to do it in the next versions.
Re: RJAA Tokyo Narita MSFS
Thanks for the response. I will hold off on purchasing the MSFS versions of your scenery until this is updated. I do a fair bit of night landings so this makes a huge difference. Hopefully that happens fairly soon as other developers have already been doing it. Thanks again.

Re: RJAA Tokyo Narita MSFS
Thank you for providing this wonderful scenery of Narita International Airport. It truly is a wonderful rendition of the airport for MSFS.
I have a few requests however. Would it be possible to add separate airline codes to each of the individual parking spots at the airport? This would greatly increase the accuracy of airlines being parked in the correct position when using AI programs.
Additionally, it appears there are some parking stands/gates missing. Are there any plans to add those in the future? (Ramp 231, Stand 441L, Gate 36, etc.)
Thank you for the wonderful work once again!

Hi.
Those missing stands are probably occupied by static aircraft (they are missing in the no-static version to not generate conflicts).
I do not believe it is already possible to add airline codes to stands...

I understand that you've announced KEWR as being worked on which is fantastic news! Will you be doing custom taxiway and runway exit lighting (yellow/green) for that airport? At this point, given that Aerosoft, SImWings, WF Scenery, Flightbeam, and others are using such lighting, I feel it is almost necessary.

Hello. It is possible to add airline codes to the stands. Many developers are already doing it and it works. If you need an example, this mod of Haneda has it. Hope it helpsDD Stanislaw wrote: ↑Sunday 15 May 2022, 13:36 Hi.

Hi. Thanks for your post. To be very honest - I'm not sure if we already have enough time and human resources to do this. I will note your request, but if there is anyone who is ready spend the time and do this for the community, we will be more than happy to add this to our scenery.

Re: RJAA Tokyo Narita MSFS
Hi. All (most) RJAA stands have airline codes added and airlines park there correctly. I am not sure what the problem is. Perhaps your AI traffic is wrongly configured if it does not work in your case.internetmaverick wrote: ↑Sunday 15 May 2022, 10:47Would it be possible to add separate airline codes to each of the individual parking spots at the airport?

Hello.
Has this jetway problem been resolved?
I still have this problem.

This value changes the distance at which the light starts to shine.

I'm afraid it's still on a "to-do" list.
