Hello again!

I have found at least a partial answer to my question about any impacts from using the older KDCA_PLC.bgl file to fix the runway identification problem. When using the old file, one problem is that it "scrambles" jet way numbers and makes most all of them all #23 as you can see in the attached screenshot (other gates are impacted as well). I thought I would share this in hopes that it might be helpful for a future fix.

Best Regards,
Mike

Thanks for your report - when we tested with A320 there was no such issue. Which plane was connected to this jetway during your test?

Any update on plans to give DCA the option to make the gates where static planes are parked be active with statics removed?

Also, for what it's worth, I feel like the lighting inside the terminals at night is way too bright, dunno how anyone else feels about it.

It is possible that this option will be available at the next update.

I'd definitely love to see this option that opens up gates with static aircraft removed.

(I also agree with the terminal lighting)

I had a similar issue today with the latest version of KDCA (v1.4 from SimMarket). ATC gave me rwy 17 (which doesn't exist) vice 19 and omitted any taxi routing. I replaced the KDCA_PLC.bgl file from your previous post and it solved both issues immediately. Thank you!

I did want to ask... does the older KDCA_PLC.bgl file change anything outside of the rwy & taxi issue for v1.4 (e.g. take away anything new)?

Again, thank you for your time and help!!

Best Regards,
Mike

P.S. LOVE EETN!!! GREAT WORK!!! I have been there a couple of times; spent several extra hours their once with an Air Baltic APU fire & emergency evac.
Hello - I've been having problems with FSLTL craft disappearing when trying to taxi and another poster mentioned the runway issues your posting about as a possible cause. Although the dev said they might need to fix this, I thought I'd try to replace the KDCA_PLC.bgl as you did to see what happens. Where did you get the file from, I do not see it on this thread?

Thank you very much! That definitely improved the situation with FSLTL. Before no planes would taxi at all and they'd just disappear after pushback but now I have an alive airport. Only one plane still glitched. I also use the mod someone posted about removing static aircraft, that worked very well in this situation.

I am not sure but regardless the jetway should not extend to a point where it appears as broken.

Could the united static aircraft be removed from the E gates? Only American operates out of the E Terminal.

I just got the airport today and when I read the post about ILS issues on runway 01, I ran a quick test flight and my PMDG 737-700 iced it like cake. In fact, I did an ILS auto-land and didn't even wake up a sleeping child in seat 42A. :D
***LOVE THIS AIRPORT!!*** Any chance you guys got KMKE in the works? (My home airport)
