KMDW Chicago Midway MSFS

I can get it to work on my Series X about half of the time, but it definitely has some issues with CTDs. When it does work, I sometimes get weird blocky textures on the Southwest planes and some missing texture in the airport itself (doors for the jetways).

I also have the missing screen issue on the A320 and other jets no matter what I do at the airport, so it is probably some sort of memory issue. I haven’t tried removing Chicago Landmarks to see if that makes it any better, but it could definitely use some cleaning up if you get a chance to test on Xbox.

As a comparison, I recently installed your Xbox version of KEWR and that is working great, especially since the SU12 update. Possibly a similar scaled down version may help?

Yes, it may help but so far, with Xbox, we were working totally blind.
We will surely provide the changes as soon as Xbox testing finally becomes available.

In the P3D version, you included the very famous White Castle restaraunt just outside the airport fence. The MSFS version does not have it. It is indeed still there. I stop there every time land in Chicago.

I see KMDW update 1.1 is out on Simmarket. How long before Orbx releases the update?

For info I note that the front page of this forum still shows Chicago Midway at V1.0, but reading recent posts and looking on Orbx Central and SimMarket websites I believe it’s been updated to V1.1.

On this occasion I purchased your excellent Midway scenery from PCAviator at V1.0 (I have reached out to them in a separate email of which I await their reply). Are you able to advise if PCAviator have the V1.1 update as currently they seem slow to update on their website.

- LOD optimized for better performance
- Texture fixes
- Custom runway lighting
- Custom sounds added
- New optional features during install
