i7-10700, 32 GB of ram, a 3080 gpu, while running 1920x1080 resolution. (...) I will typically get 30-40 FPS (...) it drops to 15-20 when I'm at KEWR with massive stuttering (...) lower my FSLTL default IFR aircraft setting from 90 to 20. When I do that, my FPS at KEWR increases to 20-25
Hi. Your specs vs screen resolution are very good and you should get much higher FPS values. According to our tests, FPS drop vs default KEWR scenery should be around 10-15% on runways, ~20-25% on aprons, and up to 35% when parked at gates. I am not sure what FPS impact FSLTL has but the % values above were consistent during tests on various machines including those with 3080s. You may try testing your performance with just a default KEWR scenery in similar traffic/weather conditions to see the actual FPS drop.

I do have FeelThere's KLGA installed as well
For a sake of the test, you may uninstall it too (temporarily) as it is close enough to influence KEWR area. The idea is to see what you get on a "clean", default sim.
After uninstalling and reinstalling the scenery, my performance has improved. I'm now averaging between 25-30 FPS but more importantly, it's a much smoother experience even in the Fenix A320. Also, it doesn't appear that FeelThere's KLGA scenery is conflicting with your scenery as my performance remained the same regardless if it was installed or not. Unfortunately, the one thing that still does impact my performance, is FSLTL (which isn't surprising). My frame rate drops to under 25 FPS with it on and IFR aircraft set to 20, but it's laggy and not an enjoyable experience. So, for now I will have to turn it off when I fly into and/or out of KEWR. I'm hoping Just Flights' FS Traffic is better on performance.
Anyway, I truly appreciate the help and tips. Thank you!
It will be as soon as Marketplace release it there. Probably about 2-3 weeks, depending on how the processing goes. It's out of our hands. Please just remember that in the Marketplace version there is not possible to use any kind of options like switching the statics off.
OK - that is good to know. I am a huge fan of DD products nd have many from P3D and bought KMDW and KDCA for MSFS is Marketplace. It was so easy to install from Marketplace If I buy from you direct, will it install itself in the right folder. I am not too good at extracting files and moving them and finding the correct folder to install it.
I am having an issue where my PMDG 737-800 is experiencing a massive drop in frames whe switched to external view in KEWR. This doesn't happen in any other airport except KEWR. Please help.
I usually clear my scenery indexes when there is an update, or I install or update airports. This seems to cut down on lag and stutters. I have a 4k monitor. I set my refresh rate lower because it kills my cpu when in MSFS. I also set the Frame rate limit to 50% of the monitor refresh rate in the sim. I don't use DLSS or DX12. I limit my frame rate to 30 fps. This helps with the lag. Some parts of the airport I get 15 to 20 fps, but I can live with that for now.

Definitely it will be easy and fully automatic - you shouldn’t be afraid

To be very honest I would expect a drop inside the cockpit, not outside. Is it the same in case of any other planes? Currently I have no idea about the solution.

We have a few ideas to make some additional improvements, but we need to wait a little bit for making the eventual update.

If you look at the new charts those terminals have been demolished. It’s likely that the satellite photo was taken before that stage of the construction. I believe those do not exist anymore.
Just curious, what charts are you looking at? I understand they are being demolished but according to the Jepp charts and the FAA charts at least 2 of those old Terminal A buildings are still there. I'm not arguing that they should therefore be in the scenery... I agree they should not as they won't be there much longer. I'm just more curious what chart is showing them already gone? Thanks
The FAA chart is dated December 2022

Yes, they are. Not the entire terminal has been demolished yet.

Is KEWR available in the MS Marketplace? I prefer using it.
It will be there but the processing takes about a month depending on their workload.

Of course, it will.

Hi! Great job and detail with KEWR. I've been there enough times thru the years and it's just as it looks IRL. I have a question regarding minimum hardware. I have i5-11400F 32GB RAM RTX3060. My FPS drop at the gates and taxiways averages 20fps and frequently goes down to 10-15fps. It makes using the scenery unusable for the most part. Is my hardware below a minimum requirement?
jsemmel wrote: ↑Wednesday 21 Dec 2022, 18:30 Is my hardware below a minimum requirement?
We do not provide any minimum requirements, because this is not only a question of PC specs but it also depends on the sim settings, used plane addon or impact of some other MSFS addons. The truth is that this is a rather demanding area and we will probably try to identify the additional space for performance improvement.

Now it works.
Thanks and that makes sense. Many variables involved that contribute to performance. I looked at the scenery objects and see that there are numerous rendered objects outside the bounds of KEWR. Therefore, I've tried removing many nearby sceneries (bridges, NYC downtown and midtown...) that I acquired from flightsim.to. Also I lowered FSLTL IFR planes down to 20 as the other person did and I believe all of this improved fps.
