Re: EPWA Warsaw Chopin MSFS
Hello,
I enjoy the Warsaw scenery, but I've encountered an issue that others have reported as well. When at the gate and in the cockpit, there's an extremely loud ambient noise. It sounds similar to having an open window, despite all windows being closed. This noise is peculiarly only present in the cockpit view - when switching to external view, the sound disappears completely.
Is there an option to reduce the volume of environmental sounds while at the gate? The current volume level is uncomfortably loud and seems unrealistic.

Hi, if this sound is bothering you too much, I can suggest that you go to drzewieckidesign-epwa/SimObjects/Landmarks and remove the folder MN_sound_Terminal_Ambient_01

Hi, it would be good to have some more information
Is it a PC or Xbox?
From which store do you have your version?
Do you have a default Bing map enabled?
Have you tried to do some basic steps, meaning:
-> Clear SceneryIndexes Cache - the simulator will rebuild the indexes automatically during the next start.
-> Set the scenery priority
-> Isolation of conflicting add-on

Hi, I understand that after all these steps there is no change, right?
Have you tried to isolate this scenery to see if there is no conflicting addon? There is "exclude" to the whole terrain, so there shouldn't be any third-party buildings. We are also not able to replicate your issue.
Can you share the screenshot from a much longer distance to see it better in a bigger area? Maybe we can see something more distinctive.

Ze swojej strony tylko chciałem potwierdzić rwanie i spadek fps po zainstalowaniu Landmarks. W momencie odinstalowania wszystko wraca do normy.

https://youtu.be/uOmWFUDQNL8 I uploaded a video. You can see theres quite a bit of an elevation difference between navigraph data and the actual runway. Around about 60-70ftMartin_Starski wrote: ↑Friday 04 Oct 2024, 04:52 Can you somehow show us via screenshot or video what's the issue? Do you mean that when you are on ILS and following the glideslope, you are too high after the pre-threshold area? Do you have the same issue with the other planes?

The point is that you are the only one reporting this issue. I also checked videos of some other users and they have no such elevation issue.tommydude2002 wrote: ↑Thursday 14 Nov 2024, 05:05 https://youtu.be/uOmWFUDQNL8 I uploaded a video. Can you confirm that you tried to isolate our scenery to find the conflicting add-on? I mean going to the 'Community' folder and moving all add-ons except the one suspected conflicting one to a temporary folder. You can de-activate individual add-ons or groups of add-ons and then figure out whether the conflict is solved or not. This solution can help to determine whether the issue is with the specific add-on or a combination of a few add-ons.
I assume that such standard steps like rebuilding the sceneryindexes and setting scenery priority have been done.

But you can see on your screenshot that you are below the glideslope and still having 3 white on PAPI. That's exactly the problem I'm referring to here. There's no terrain glitches at the airport or other bumpy runway/taxiway issues. What I meant by elevation issue is that navigraph's ILS data doesn't really seem to match the threshold height of your physical runways. The airport and runways in general might've been 50ft too low compared to published charts.Martin_Starski wrote: ↑Thursday 14 Nov 2024, 08:17The point is that you are the only one reporting this issue. I'll try to spawn at the runway threshold and use the MSFS HUD to see the actual elevation there later today. I can check those numbers against Navigraph charts. Right now RWY33 is listed at 355ft and RWY11 at 362ft
