...is a dynamic scenery plugin for X-Plane that brings airports to life by simulating realistic, context-aware ground activity.

Living Scenery Technology (LST) is used by scenery developers to add dynamic behavior to airports, going beyond static objects and simple animations.

It enables features such as:

• dynamic ground traffic and service vehicles,
• realistic, time-based airport activity,
• context-aware scenery behavior,
• and interactive elements that react to aircraft presence.

Instead of relying on static scenery layouts, LST allows airports to feel alive, with movement and activity that adapts to the situation on the apron, taxiways, and service areas. This significantly enhances immersion, especially at larger and more complex airports.

Living Scenery Technology is:

• free to use,
• actively developed,
• installed separately as a global plugin for X-Plane.

Some of our X-Plane sceneries require LST to be installed in order to function correctly. If LST is not present, certain dynamic ground operations or scenery behaviors may be missing, even though the scenery itself may still load.
