My coworker Jakub wrote me that in comparison to the new static 777 my 787 model is f** up and should be done from scratch (the current one has around 6k polys). So... I had no choice but only to start doing a new model, which should take about 1500 polygons plus I will also model the -9 and -10 versions.

...and here is the fully completed model of the -8 version with a very good result of 1500 poly:
Note that the front gear is slightly above the ground - this is because it is much easier to model an aircraft places at a cruise angle (horizontally) than how it stands on the ground (the nose is lower).
This model will be used in our upcoming Seattle project as well as in New York Airports v2.
[edit] And here is the -10 version which can accomodate up to 440 (!) passengers.
