Thanks, Ive just checked the support page for Just Flight seems the latest update available is 1.4p so am unsure where to go from here. Ive logged a ticket but if thats the latest update available would there be anything you can do to provide me an update to 1.5 at all?

We do not provide software - only the vendors do. I'll check why there is no newest version available.

Thanks for looking into it and yes I can understand that it has to be the vendor to provide, I would of just thought that they would receive the latest update from yourself's. Id imagine they'll be others in the same predicament.

How do you tell which version you have? Mine just says "NewYorkAirportsXP_Windows"

NOTE: I just checked my manual and it says 1.5

Airstrip lights in mid-air KJFK 04L

Sitting at 04L, look towards New York City. Several yellow lights are floating mid air.
Look towards the air terminal. Several yellow lights can be seen in the air.

v1.5 (according to the manual). Purchased from xplane.org

Until Dreziewski Design send us updated versions we can only distribute the ones we have

If this is a recent update then we may not have got it yet. Once we do it will replace the existing one and customers will be able to download it from their account

DD can be a bit slow in getting updates out to retailers

Greetings. I purchased the New York Airports a while back and recently purchased the New York city from Xplane.org store. I never had issues with the airports package until a couple days ago. I installed the New York City scenery and everything looked great. After installation I added another scenery package just to see what that one looked like. Unfortunately the two that I bought from the xplane.org didnt load obviously because you cant have two custom scenerys for the same airport. So I got rid of the freeware that I put in the folder and reinstalled the paywares again so they will show up again. There now back again and working. However this time I see two runways and taxiways of everything at Laguardia along with the rest of the airports. So I realiized that my Global Airport file was above the other scenerys so I moved that to the bottom. Now all the airports look great and everything is not doubled. Everything looks great except when I select that I want to spawn at LGA at runway 4 it puts me on 22 and vice versa for all the runways. And same for the other runways at LGA. Also I cant pick up any of the localizers for the airport. Only LGA has this issue. Also in the xplane menu where your able to type the ICAO for the airport you want to spawn at or select its runways or gates, at LGA the airport map on that menu is missing and all there is are a couple lines (it should show an airport diagram with runways). If I type KJFK it will show me all the runways but not at LGA. So basically Laguardia is somehow not working with any of the localizers and when i choose to spawn at a particular runway at LGA it will spawn me on the opposite direction. Thanks. BTW I have 1.5 version.

I purchased New York Airports XP today to go with the New York Scenery (which is excellent). I have installed on my mac running XP11 following the instructions but receive a loading error regarding the incomparability of the new nav data that was added to the earth_nav.dat file. On inspection, the new records that were added are clearly missing some fields. There is no XP11 version of the new nav data in the downloaded package and the installation instructions do not reference one. The manual indicates that I have version 1.5 and also references that it will work on XP11 as the description on the vendor site also indicated.

Is there a correct nav data file available.

Ron, please try removing the scenery_packs.ini file.
Brian, it seems that you have installed it in XP10 way, this won't work in XP11. Please read the following manual:

Please note that this unified system was introduced together with Washington XP product but the main idea of where to place files is clear.

Received the above error along with "SSM" when trying to run the New York City Airports XP in XPlane 11.

Had to overwrite the earth_data file.

Is this the only way to correct the error?

Dear Stanislaw,

Even though my manual version says 1.5 and references use on XP 11, I believe I must not have the correct NewYorkAirportsXP_Mac_Linux directory. The installation instructions do not match the version you reference above and the specific X-Plane 11 A and B install instructions in the version you provided are not possible to execute. There is no INSTALLER folder and no user_nav.dat file in any of the folders. There is also no earth_nav11.txt file.

I purchased the scenery from x-plane.org. I'm assuming this means that they do not have the correct files for download. Should I contact them?

Hi there, I have the following issues with this scenery:

1. X-Plane's own static aircraft seem to be disabled at all included airports, which makes the airport seem dead.

2. X-Plane's Ai traffic doesn't spawn at any included airport, making them seem even more dead.

Anything that can be done about that?

I have the same problem. Both JFK and EWR airports look abandoned. Also in my DD folder I do not have JFK listed. All the others are there.
