Had to do complete uninstall and fresh install of p3d to get sim working again
No, you definitely did not have to do that. Things you may try:
1. During install - deselect all airports and proceed with the install. Check the result.
2. During install - select only one airport (the one which is causing the problem) and proceed with the install. Check the result.
3. During install - select all airports which are not causing the problem and proceed with the install. Check the result.
If #1 crashes the sim than this is not our product's fault
If #2 or #3 crashes the sim than remove Prepar3D.cfg located in Local Disk (C:) ► Users ► You ► AppData ► Roaming ► Lockheed Martin ► Prepar3D v4. Let me know the result.
Hello
Not sure if I'm posting in the right place here ...
I have Seattle X installed in P3DV4. Everything is fine, except KBFI. All taxiways, runways etc. are positioned about 10 m below terrain. I'm also using UTX USA and TOPOSIM mesh.
Anything I can do about that?
Hello.
The product hasn't been tested with the TOPOSIM mesh. Please check if our product is on the top of the Scenery Library list and additionally please try to temporarily disable the TOPOSIM mesh to test if this is what is causing the problem.
Hello Stanislaw
Yes, there is only one entry named Seattle X and it is on top between the grey shaded entries (I don't know what that means).
After deactivating TOPOSIM USA the field elevation was perfect. I then reactivated TOPOSIM again, same result. It seems that the problem has been resolved by this action???
I just discovered I had the same issue with Everett. This time the same fix didn't work, but disabling UTX.
After re-enabling TOPOSIM and UTX except for two entries which are obviously directed to FSX everything is fine.
Hello Drzewiecki Design Support
I have an issue with the elevation in KPAE airport. (I have this issue only in KPAE. KSEA KBFI work fine)
I use p3d v4.3 and I have also Seattle City x.
I have the KPAE file in Prepar3D v4\Scenery\World\scenery.
I can't add pictures.
And Can I install the product in another location or it must to be install in P3D v4 directory ???
Thanks
I used Seattle X demo before I install the full Seattle Airport and City X.
I use Orbx FTX Global and openLC North America.
I copy the "Snohomish Co KPAE_ARP.BGL" file from Prepar3D v4\Scenery\World\scenery:

Please elaborate, I am not sure what you have copied.
You might actually try removing that Snohomish Co KPAE_ARP.BGL file completely.

I tried to attach the elevation file of KPAE from Prepar3D v4\Scenery\World\scenery because I thought that one of the support team can see that there is error in the file so I tried to attach it but I can't with the error "Invalid file extension: Snohomish Co KPAE_ARP.BGL" so I open the file and copy what was in the file.
