Hello.
It is possible to use it with GPUs <6GB however it would require limiting the settings of the sim quite significantly. I would personally consider purchasing a better GPU.
Ok so i've tested and found that the apronOBJ.bgl cause the highest drop in framerate (making it unplayable for me)
reducing to 2048 texture and removing cars/ ramp objects and cars helps a lot but not as much as removing the apronobj.bgl
Any idea why i'm getting butter FPS with apronobj disabled?
Also please for the future don't allow the installer to modify the P3D.CFG
John it is safe to delete files RJAA_Handling_PLC, RJAA_Cars_PLC, RJAA_STATIC_PLC. If you use Sode to turn on/off automatic lights you can delete to RJAA_LHT_PLC.
File RJAA_ApronOBJ includes Dynamic lights, so if you remove it, it will be dark at night in all aprons.
I think resetting the max texture to 2048 fixed all fps issues, the installer forced it to 4096 and it was bad. I'm going to attempt a reinstall to verify that claim.
Final verdict, the performance is amazing but getting to it was a little tricky.
First of all I'd suggest you stop telling the installer to change the cfg settings, especially without warning the user as it generates confusion.
Second, after loading the default flight at KVPS, letting couatl rebuild its cache I switched to RJAA, it runs like butter milk.
Third and final, to verify it's not some fluke I shut the sim down and rebooted to start directly at RJAA and it runs like absolute butter, better than WCI and even all other DD sceneries I own.
Kuba Pa hello can you be specific about SODE controlling lights? If SODE is installed I do not have to check the box lights on all the time in the installer or I can disable that bgl file? And how does SODE VDGS work I see nothing to enable

about SODE controlling
Hi, if you don't untick "lights all the time" option, SODE will activate the lights at dusk / night automatically. Similarly will be with low visibility - SODE will manage the lights. But you may also use the function "all the time" and they will be always active despite of time or weather.
