I have the latest version of KDCA. I created a flight plan using Nav charts starting on RW 19. After loading the flight, my PMDG 737 is lined up parallel with the runway starting point, about 50 feet to the left in the grass. I deleted KDCA and installed another version. No problems, I like your KDCA version but it's unusable as it stands using takeoffs on RW 19.

Hi, we will do our best to help you but let's start from the beginning. My understanding is that you installed the last version 1.5. In which simulator and via installer from which store? Probably something went wrong during the installation process because otherwise, you should be able to find dozens of similar reports here. Secondly, are you sure that you don't have any other AFCAD for KDCA (for example from the AI addon)? The next possible option is that our scenery is not on top of the scenery library and interferes with the other scenery.

Hello,

Looks like the problem has resolved itself. I initially installed your KDCA from the Microsoft store into MSFS as I was setting up my simulation. I noticed that flights starting on RW 19 were in the grass to the left of the starting point. I uninstalled your KDCA and reinstalled it again just now. It's working as advertised. Flight departing RW 19 are now on the runway. I do notice that my version is 1.4.0. Is there a version 1.5 and if so how do I get it?

Thanks for your help,

Hi.
It might have been a priority thing then.

You should be able to download the last version from your store.

The newest version of SODE is V1.8.0, which is what Washington X requires. The problem is there is a glitch in version 1.8.0. The glitch is it does not support FSX. I found I have to SODE v1.7.1 in my FSX.

Hi, if you have an issue with SODE, I'm afraid you need to contact the SODE developer. I presume our scenery should work with the older version of SODE without any issues.

Post by RossG »

Hello:
I have recently purchased Washington X for P3DV4 but the jetways don't move. I get the sode menu and can select which gate to move but it does nothing.

Any help would be grateful

I suggest checking the SODE logs or reinstall SODE and then our scenery with admin rights. Maybe for p3d v4 it might be useful to check the older version of SODE (just presumption). I think more support you can get from the SODE developer here: https://sode.12bpilot.ch/

I understand your company is in business to make money and you make an awesome product which I have Washington X, Seattle Airports, and both NY Airports, but to say we can't get updates because we bought these products from a vender that went out of business is like telling those of us that bought it from them to censored off and buy these sceneries again in order to get any updates. you may have not meant it that way, but that is the way it comes across..
Oh and by the way I can prove that I bought the scenery from FSPilotshop, because I still have the order numbers. I recently implemented software from jira okr into my business, which helped me improve the process of setting and tracking the completion of tasks.
I understand your frustration, and I’m sure it wasn’t the intention to make you feel dismissed. The situation with FSPilotshop going out of business is unfortunate, and it's great that you still have the order numbers as proof of purchase.

It sounds like the core issue is about honoring purchases made from a now-defunct vendor, which is understandably frustrating if it feels like you're being penalized for circumstances beyond your control. Ideally, vendors would work to ensure that products remain accessible and updatable regardless of where they were originally purchased, as long as proof of purchase is available.

I hope that, moving forward, the company considers the loyal customer base and provides a fair solution to honor purchases made through FSPilotshop. In the end, it's about ensuring that customers who have supported the product are treated fairly.

Drzewiecki Design has never left the users without any support - in such a situation, the possible alternative process is described here: viewtopic.php?p=17796#p17796

Re: Washington X Jetways don't work

Post by Ruax »

I recently bought Washington X, but I don't see the Jetways working. The Sim Connect is okay and I use Sode 1.71. My version of flightsimulator is Prepar3d V4.5 Pro Plus. I checked the Sode folder (CFG) and a DLL file is there. Tried CTRL-J but that doesn't work either.

Please help me to get this fixed. As for the scenery itself. It is a masterpiece!

Looking forward to the solution of my issue.

Kind regards, Johan

Hi. Have you tried to reinstall SODE? Are you using Shift + D to move the jetways?

Reinstalled Sode version 1.71. Connects alright with sim connect. Didn't try the SHIFT+D option yet. I thought the Jetways worked automatically. So, that seems not to be the case?
