Re: Washington Landmarks MSFS
To be honest, I'm lost because I cannot replicate your issue. I'm checking with my colleagues if they have any other idea what might be specific in your particular case.
If there is no Community folder (renmaned) and our installer cannot find it in the indicated location, it should ask for the respective path.
And you tried to re-type the path manually in user.cfg file?

I just tried "C:\new folder" with the same error message

Re: Washington Landmarks MSFS
There must be the path to the folder where your simulator reads and loads the add-ons.
Your user.cfg suggests that it's C:\Users\jjdke\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages
Do you have the Community folder there and all your other add-ons are installed there?
There must be something that is making a mess for our installer. Have you been a beta tester of MSFS 2024? Did you buy your simulator from Microsoft or from Steam? Sorry for the questions but I'm just looking at all the angles.

Community path C:\Users\jjdke\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community
Not a Beta tester
Purchased from the Microsoft store
I also have 2020 on the same machine (the installer does not work for 2020)

Re: Washington Landmarks MSFS
And in this particular Community folder, you have other add-ons inside?
Re: Washington Landmarks MSFS
Yes, the Community Folder
HA! I got it.
The issue is my Downloads folder is on a different drive. I moved the install to C:\Temp and was able to install.
Don't know why. Other installers in the E:\Downloads folder work fine

Thanks for sharing - I'm happy that it works for you finally.
I will discuss with my colleagues how it might confuse our installer.

Just purchased KDCA. Getting error that it cannot locate simulator. All other admins work perfect. Purchased another scenery. It installed no issues. Community folder is default.

Hi, please provide me with:
-> exact name of our product/scenery
(You wrote in the thread relating to Washington Landmarks MSFS)
-> version number of our scenery
-> your store name
-> version of your flight simulator
-> user.cfg (you can attach it here as a ZIP file)

Re: Washington Landmarks MSFS
I have a problem with Landmarks Washington v2 that I cannot solve. The default KDCA has melted buildings and planes, as well as planes at odd angles to the ground. If I remove your Landmarks scenery from the Community folder, the default KDCA is good, but with it KDCA has all these problems. I tried replacing the bgl file with the Version 1 bgl file and it did not fix it. I saw a post that said your KDCA airport works with the Landmarks scenery (of course) but why is there the problem with the default KDCA? I have no other addons for Washington. I have no other airports or scenery in FS2020 that has this problem and I have many addons.
Re: Washington Landmarks MSFS
I apparently have an issue not brought up here.
FS2020, PC. Excellent specs. FS2020 runs great.
After installing Landmarks Washington v2 Many buildings and planes in KDCA (default) are melted and some planes are nose up or on edge- totally messed up.. Part of the airport is normal and about half of it is broken in this way.
I have no other addons for the airport or area that would be interfering with the Landmarks addon.
Someone on the MSFS Forum gave me a link to a patch, by you, to replace the v2 BGL with v1 BGL but that did nothing to fix it.
I have no other airports exhibiting this type of glitch. Any ideas?

Re: Washington Landmarks MSFS
If you use a default one with our Washington Landmarks scenery, such a combination generates an issue in MSFS 2024 indeed. Have you already tested our fix, which makes the respective exclusion for the airport area? I mean this post: viewtopic.php?p=29997#p29997
Theoretically, you should just copy all files/folders from drzewieckidesign-washingtonlandmarks folder to the scenery folder and overwrite the files. However, it will not work if you have our scenery from the Marketplace.
