I just bought this scenery and as nice as it looks from 1000 feet away, the buildings are completely greyed or blacked out unless I zoom in very close while I'm flying. I bought this scenery to see the skyline as I'm coming into south approaches into O'hare and its completely useless now. Huge difference from the DC landmark scenery that was produced here was hoping for the same quality...

Hi, is it PC or Xbox version? From which store? With or without VR? Is it in 4k or 1080p? What are your sim settings?

We optimized LOD for a better performance some time ago. Theoretically, we might look into the LOD issue related to medium LODs appearing too late, but it might be challenging to find a golden middle for everyone.

As others have reported, there has to be a fix to get the Chicago skyline to light up at night. This is the point of this add on. If I'm taking off from KORD, even if I head east towards the lake, the buildings do not light up at all. i'd have to be flying vfr less than 1000 feet to get any kind of building lighting to work. Why is this a problem? Seems I'm not the only one reporting this.

I just updated to SU2 of Fs2024, MS store version, non-vr, 4k resolution on PC.
TLOD is 400 OLOD is 100-125

I will ask my colleagues again if there is something that we can fix easily.

It might be a problem with LOD in MSFS 2024 indeed.
Our goal was to update all installers to adapt them for both MSFS 2020 and 2024 - it looks like we will have to work on better compatibility with MSFS 2024, which we can do with the next update of this scenery, but the work schedule is not known for this particular one yet.
