Hi. Our installers have been updated and provided to all store. We are not responsible for the installers provided by MS store. Thanks to John Burgess, Orbx posted a fix on their forum: https://forum.orbxdirect.com/topic/2232 ... nt-1866894

Would give this information to Aerosoft also? I've bought KPAE and KBFI at the Aerosoft Store and have similar problems with loading the scenery.

I'm afraid this is the issue with the installer for MSFS 2024 only, not with our files - Aerosoft has its own installer, so please ask them first and you might eventually redirect them to the post in our forum.

The 'fix' should now be part of the install via ORBX Central.
Apologies for the delay in that.
All the best,
John

Hello John,

Could I use this fix also with a KPAE version from Aerosoft?

Best regards,
Martin

How can I verify having the latest installer? Checking today in Simmarket the installer provided is still V1.1 that came out before MSFS2024. And the upload date mentioned there says it's the same old installer for MSFS2020.
And if I then use that installer the flight won't load and the sim gets stuck.
So can you please confirm Simmarket is distributing the mentioned updated installers? Thanks!

The last version should be 1.2 - we will check it with the store.

Thank you for checking! V1.2 definitely wasn't available when I checked Simmarket.
And I guess it's the same for KBFI? Didn't see a new installer for that one either.

KBFI should be available as v1.2 as well. It's going to be checked with Simmarket.

As of today I still only see V1.1 for both KPAE and KBFI at Simmarket. Feel free to throw a brick into Simmarkets backyard to remind them, or through the window for that matter :D

I've just spent a chunk of time trying to get KPAE to work in FS24. I hit the Start Flight button, and it just sits there. Forever. I can back out to the main screen and exit, but it freezes and I have to do a hard quit. Removing the scenery solves the issue. I'm using v1.2 from Simmarket. I've tried reinstalling a few times with different options selected. I have no issues with the FS20 version.

I've got exactly the same issue using the new v1.2 installer from Simmarket. Glad to know it's not just me!

To be very honest, this is something new for us.
Can you confirm that files from this post don't help either (don't be influenced by the fact that it's related to Orbx)? viewtopic.php?p=29631#p29631

Thank you for your suggestion, unfortunately those files do not change the situation. Stuck on loading screen and unable to exit the sim.
FYI, the files I replaced had a time stamp of July or August 2023, so long before MSFS 2024 existed, if that's relevant.
