Do you have FSX:SE of FSX?

At first glance, it looks like a registry problem. Please take a look into this: viewtopic.php?t=293

What is the version of the DEMO installer?
Make sure you select "FSX" during install.

Hi everyone,

For those who are interested, I updated the KORD and KPWK .BGL files to reflect the correct and current ILS data, mainly for runways 09C/27C for KORD and runway 16 for KPWK. As a result, the new frequency at KORD was in conflict with the ILS frequency from the nearby airport, KPWK. For KORD, it's still missing the ILS Y Rwy 10R which is not included yet, (not to be confused with the ILS Z Rwy 10R). To update the file, make sure to save a backup of the original. Please note that I only have P3Dv4.5 and it works. So I don't know if it would work with the other simulators, i.e FSX, P3Dv3.

I am using Chicago Airports X with Chicago City X in p3dv5.4, ORBX Global Base, Open LC NA, HD buildings, Global TerraFlora v2. There are a few buildings showing up on and around runway 27R, as well as a few scattered houses around the taxiways. It seems to only be an issue when I am flying into KORD as my destination. Is there any fix for this?

I'm afraid it must be something generated by the other add-ons/sceneries. Have you prioritized our sceneries versus the other sceneries? In the case of ORBX you can use the library insertion point tool in the ORBX Central to move our sceneries above the ORBX sceneries. Regarding the other products like Global TerraFlora - we've never used it, but it might be worth deactivating it temporarily to see if it interferes with our sceneries or not.

No jetways at KORD.

FSX, SODE 1.7.1, GSX I have deleted and reinstalled Chicago Airports X; KORD only. I did not install the 'extras' such as 3D people, etc.

I can create SODE jetways using the airport customization, but that requires using the editor to set positions. Also, no luck in finding GSX profiles for KORD.

What am I missing?

Thanks..

Hi! What does it mean "no jetways"? You don't see it at all?
Have you tried to reinstall SODE and then reinstall the scenery? Sometimes it helps.
Please also remember that our jetways should be operated with the shortcut Shift + D via SODE, not via GSX.

Greetings

I've downloaded Chicago 1.4, I'm running P3Dv5.4...just wondering for the installer set up if there are more options to be load (ex. SODE) than what's pictured? If so, how do I gain access because I don't have visibility within the installer set up?

Thanks for your guidance.

Hi, I'm not sure if I understood you correctly, but you've shown all possible options. If you'd like to change something, simply start the installer, select the preferred options, and click "install".
If you'd like to change something in SODE, you should this directly with their app - more details can be found here: https://sode.12bpilot.ch/?page_id=9

Hey Martin
Thanks for your feedback.
I didn’t know if the installer set up included an option to select SODE jetways or use the default ones. Some other scenery providers have that option available.
Reason why I’m inquiring is the SODE jetways are present in the scenery but don’t move. I’ve installed the SODE correctly so I just wanted to verify I wasn’t missing something with the installer set up. I’ll message SODE directly for their guidance.

Thanks a bunch. Take care.

Please note that, according to our manual, you should use the shortcut Shift + D to activate jetways in our sceneries.
