Re: KDCA Washington National MSFS
Hi, v1.5 was only the adaptation of the installer to make it available for MSFS 2024. If it can be installed in MSFS 2024, maybe Contrail just updated their installer and made it available for MSFS 2024 without changing their version number.
Regarding the strange "animation" - have you tried to set up a priority for our scenery to see if it makes any difference?

Are you saying that I can redirect the 1.4 installer to the MSFS 2024 installer and it should work fine?

Re: KDCA Washington National MSFS
What do you mean by "redirect"? Generally, a difference between 1.4 and 1.5 is that we updated the installer to be compatible with MSFS 2024. If Contrail has his own installer allowing to install it in MSFS 2024, it's only a matter of version numbering.

Re: KDCA Washington National MSFS
What I meant by redirect is when the installer asks for the location of the MSFS 2020 community folder can I just redirect it to the 2024 community folder? I don't have the Contrail installer. The one from pcaviator is just a regular old installer where you specify install location, etc.. Someone else asked about Contrail.

Yes, I have tried setting it as the highest priority, but it didn't change anything.Martin_Starski wrote: ↑Thursday 09 Oct 2025, 13:11 Hi, v1.5 was only the adaptation of the installer to make it available for MSFS 2024. I found the problem - City Update IX is conflicting with the scenery. When I disabled it (which I'd rather not do, of course), the problem goes away.Martin_Starski wrote: ↑Thursday 09 Oct 2025, 13:11 Hi, v1.5 was only the adaptation of the installer to make it available for MSFS 2024. Can I place the scenery as higher priority so everything renders correctly?

I tried the package reorder tool, placing it at the bottom of the list, but the problem persists:

Re: KDCA Washington National MSFS
I did try this morning to use the 1.4 installer I got from pcaviator to install into MSFS 2024 by just telling it where the 2024 community folder was and it wouldn't go for it. It just kept telling me it couldn't find MSFS 2020 and to locate the community folder but it wouldn't accept the 2024 folder location. Also I just checked pcaviator again and they still don't offer 1.5 to download.

Thanks. I also emailed pcaviator myself and asked them to supply the update both to KDCA and to Washington Landmarks. No response yet.Martin_Starski wrote: ↑Saturday 11 Oct 2025, 08:18We have already asked this store to update the version to 1.5.

No it's also once in the flight.Martin_Starski wrote: ↑Saturday 11 Oct 2025, 08:23Is it only with the overhead imagery?
Do you have our Washington Landmarks MSFS V2?
No Washington Landmarks, no.
Apparently this is an issue with multiple airports in the latest beta. Seen it also with iniBuilds Heathrow and FB MSP.

Also, it might just be a beta bug, but last night when I landed on runway 19 there were 2 sets of PAPI lights. Made the descent a bit confusing.
Overall nice scenery, though, glad I got it.
