Hello
I just launched YSWS again and it is working
Please disregard
I launched it solely in the community then went back to all add-ons mode and it worked, weird but solved
Cheers

Hi Veri, can you share any info on SIDS and STARS you referred to as was hoping to do some IFR flights.ermers@bigpond.com wrote: ↑Wednesday 09 Jul 2025, 09:31 Hi,
I just purchased YSWS , it looks and feels great however I did notice a few bugs and an issue that caused the simulator to register aircraft damage and thereby end the flight (black Screen). I have attached some sceen shots. The biggest issue is the sudden deflection of the runway 05. I'd be interested to know if anyone else is experiencing the same or it's just me.
PS. After a google search I found someone who has created some basic SIDs and STARs, this certainly assists in departures and arrivals. Just need Simbrief and Beyond ATC to recognise YSWS.

I bought the airport from the in-game marketplace, but there isn't any static aircraft, the photos in the in-game marketplace show static aircraft, and the description says there is static aircraft included

I'm afraid Marketplace has its own installer which is built on our files. It's not in our hands. Please report the problem to the vendor directly first.

I am using this product with M$FS 2020, and notice when I select it in the world map, it is called "Sydney Western Airport" rather than "Western Sydney Airport", is that intentional?

It's not intentional. I will note it to correct in the future.

Hi,
I am having trouble installing YSWS purchased at Simmarket.
I get the following error "Simulator path could not be located. Please check your configuration and try again'
All the simmarket installer directories seem to be pointing in the correct direction.
Any tips would be appreciated.

Re: YSWS Western Sydney Airport MSFS
All our installers work the same - they are looking for the file UserCfg.opt in LocalCache:
MS Store:
%localappdata%Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\UserCfg.opt
Steam:
%appdata%\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\UserCfg.opt
And if it's not found, they ask for a manual selection of the correct folder and save that info into the registry. There should be no problems unless something is non-standard in your setup/configuration. Please try to temporarily delete the entire UserCfg.opt file (make a backup) and then ran the installer again. The installer will not be able to recognize it and allowe you to manually select the location of the MSFS installation folder. Then the entire installation process can be finalized.

Sorry, but it's in the hands of the Marketplace, which sells the scenery. For our installer, it's available for both sims.
