Thank you so much for the update! Quick question, will the GSX profile be updated to include the previously disabled gates?

I noticed there were no approach lights for 13L when they are there in real life.

Can you share the screenshot, please?
We don’t provide the GSX profile - this question should be asked to Cartayna for example.

Re: KMDW Chicago Midway MSFS
Hello,
I installed the latest update via simmarket earlier today. Just tried a flight from KIND to KMDW. However, beyondatc is not working with the new update (it worked with the previous KMDW scenery prior to the update). It's not recognizing the runways in the scenery data from the update. Can someone assist, many thanks.

Additionally, although I selected the option to remove static aircraft during the installation, I'm still seeing the gates occupied by static SWA aircraft.

Same here with installing the new version from SimMarket. Ticked the option to remove static aircraft yet they are still there. Also the PDF for the manual will not open. I have removed and re-downloaded several times to no avail. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
Thanks

Also had this issue with the static traffic.DCRFLIGHT wrote: ↑Thursday 26 Feb 2026, 03:32 Same here with installing the new version from SimMarket. If I turned it off in the ini manager the airport wouldn’t show up in the sim.
I went into the Comm folder and found the static AI file and renamed it with .OFF and that did the trick.
I did have to isntall MDW again before I did this to make it all work.
I cannot comment on the lack of approach lighting since my flight last night from KIND took place during the day.
I have a look at the approach lighting tonight.

With regard to the static aircraft, here's what I found that works for me in MSFS 2024:
In the "Scenery" folder, you will see two .bgl files. Both start with the file name, "KMDW_PLC.bgl"; however, one has the extension, ".nostatic":
Remove the "plain" one (highlighted in gray here), but leave the one with the ".nostatic" extension, and no static aircraft will be at the gates.
Hope this helps!

PLEASE DISREGARD MY PREVIOUS POST! I just discovered that what I posted does NOT work, as when I just went back to do a flight, I found that the default KMDW was loaded instead.
I can't seem to find the edit/delete function here, so I thought I should post this. If you are a moderator, please feel free to delete this and the previous post.
Sorry for the confusion...

Re: KMDW Chicago Midway MSFS
I can confirm that this does indeed work. I added the ".off" extension onto the "KMDW.Static.bgl", and that worked perfectly (should have read that post more carefully the first time!). If you are a visual learner, like me, here's what it looks like:fakeflyer737 wrote: ↑Thursday 26 Feb 2026, 12:12 Also had this issue with the static traffic.

I will shut up now...

But should I understand that you still had to disable them manually?

Yes that’s the only way to make it work without the managers disabling the entire airport.Martin_Starski wrote: ↑Friday 27 Feb 2026, 05:55 But should I understand that you still had to disable them manually?

Re: KMDW Chicago Midway MSFS
I'm a tester with ORBX and found the following which may resolve the issue of the airport buildings disappearing when the 'No Statics' option is chosen in MSFS2024.
I've obviously only checked it with the install using ORBX central but it may well apply to installations from other sources.
If I understand it the option should not just remove the statics but also makes the parking spaces available for AI traffic etc.
To do this requires toggling between two different versions of the KMDW_PLC.bgl file.
What I found was that the entry for this in the layout.json file was
{
"path": "scenery/KMDW_PLC.bgl",
"size": 329112,
"date": 134164706635116847
},
To work with both versions of the KMDW_PLC.bgl file it needs to be changed to this
{
"path": "scenery/KMDW_PLC.bgl",
"size": 331264,
"date": 134164706635116847
},
We've made the change for the ORBX installer and both options are working properly for me at least.
As far as I know just disabling the KMDW_Static.BGL file will remove the statics but will not make the parking spaces available to other traffic.
Hope this helps.
All the best,
John
