Re: Your computer has run out of available memory
Zycze powodzenia z nieodzownym atrybutem kazdego FSX-owca - czyli z optymalizacją!

Runway lights
Hello there.
I have noticed that at EPMO runway lights are flickering on the whole runway during the day and fogy conditions. Is there any treason for that ? I don't have such issue in the other airport like EETN. There where my assumption comes that this is not P3D issue. Is there any solution for that ?
I'm using P3Dv3
Kind regards

Just bought Warsaw City and EPWA and getting OOM in FSX
Hello Stanislaw,
Is there anything I can do about the constant OOM I get with Warsaw City and EPWA in my FSX Sp2 ?
I have a brand new system i7 6700K @ 4.8 Ghz (liquid cooled) /GTX 980/ Win7 pro on SSD/ FSX sp2 in its own mechanical HD/16Gb DDR4 system RAM. All my other high definition and very demanding airports run beautifully with 30FPS (locked) and keep FSX max texture load at 1024 and never get OOM's even with the PMDG 777.
I was very surprised that I keep getting these OOM's here and wondering what you might suggest? I already chose the light texture package during installation and I use your season switcher. I don't use the HD grass you offer (I would if it can run at 1024).
Thanks in advance
Bill

Hi.
Did you install the lite texture pack for EPWA? If so, I would only recommend decreasing some of your settings a bit. A little change much give a big difference.

I found the true solution to my OOM (and stutters) problem!
It wasn't either EPWA or Warsaw City at all! It was my UT2 traffic settings - I didn't know that it has direct control of traffic density regardless of FSX traffic settings. I went to their forums and learned how to set it properly.
I had FSX aircraft set at 15% for airlines and 10% for GA (set in FSX config directly), but I had UT2 set at 100% for both airlines and GA, believing that FSX would have final control of things. Not true!
When I set UT2 traffic to 20% and 15% respectively, all the stutters and OOM's disappeared. I could probably drop that a little more to, say, 15% and 10% for an even better margin of memory usage.
With my fairly top-end system (per initial post), I doubt that I needed the lite texture pack installed at EPWA at all.
I should have realized that random stutters were directly related to UT2's spawning of aircraft - whenever more traffic was spawned, I'd get a stutter - at 100%, that is a HUGE hit on performance!
Sorry for my mistake and I hope this post might assist someone using UT2 (or other AI traffic tool) in future.
